We stayed at the above hotel for 2 nights last month. I'm afraid to say that I really cannot recommend this hotel which is a shame as it is very well located in London. We were given a really small room with a view of a dirty internal courtyard. The furniture in the room was very dated and the walls had obviously been given a sloppy quick whitewash, as the furniture had splashes of paint covering some parts! On both nights we were awoken by the sound of banging guest room doors in the outside corridor & by the sound of our next door occupant using their bathroom - the walls were paper thin! I found the staff to be OK'ish, although it did take 2 attempts to get some water delivered to our room. After our stay I completed a questionnaire and received a reply from the General Manager. She told me that the hotel is about to be fully refurbished which may explain some of the problems.

Booked a room at this hotel in a panic because was in London for a course at the same time as Wimbledon! This was one of the only hotels that still had availability, so was worried that it would be a dump. anyway, i was very pleasantly surprised. It's in a great location and only a 5 minute walk from Paddington train station. lots of nice looking restaurants nearby. Breakfast was good and included in my room rate. Lobby and reception very well laid out and looked quality. I booked a single room and was upgraded to a larger room with double bed which was fantastic! Not much in the way of toiletries in the bathroom, but at least there was a bath. Bed was very comfortable, TV could have done with updating, very old and the remote had no numbers on because they had been worn away. All in all I was very impressed with this hotel and would stay here again, if my usual favourites were all full.

Hotel has a good location for all the sights and just off the main Bayswater Road. Some of the other comments are interesting as it is not what I experianced. The hotel was very busy, but I found the front desk helpful and obliging and everyone smiled with a genuine feel. The atmosphere was welcoming. Some money may be required in some areas, but the hotel is very clean and well cared for with a home from home feel. The bedroom size is not over spacious, but then how much time did we spend in the hotel.
I recommend you try the hotel restaurant, the food was great and very well priced for all budgets.
Would stay again

Beautiful but small rooms, not for 4 stars. Clean and good situated. Breakfast is allways the same, a little bit short. Very noisy room service from 8:00. Can ear TVs or people showering from other rooms.
