The Museum of London Docklands is an extraordinary experience and one well worth visiting. Take the delightful DLR to Canary Wharf and then cross the waterways to this converted warehouse
and go right to the top to discover what makes London such a fantastic city. From Roman times through the pounding the city took in World War 2 - you can visit the Victorian dockside streets, take a look at the slave trade, understand the sights and smells that pervaded the city. Another worthwhile excursion and one for the children too.
