Visiting london for the first time, with my wife and my 10 year old daugther, stayed here for 4 nights this March in, most likely, the smallest triple room in London! Really ridiculous the size of both the room and the bathroom. Add the fact that the room doesn't have a proper closet, without a single hanger for clothing and you can get the picture. No space for people to be or the luggage to arrange. Then the breakfast... probably ok for the english but for everybody else... shameful.(specialy Portuguese be aware) The bread was horrible, no croissants or similar, terrible chocolate for the milk, doubtful butter and i could go on and on... We had breakfast outside the hotel the entire stay. The only good stuff: the room was warm, the beds were ok and the staff at the reception was nice. Oh, and the location was very good, in a realy nice area of london, very safe, close to gloucester road and the underground station. We know that the price we paid was really cheap for London, a very expensive city, (in Lisbon, for what we paid, we could stayed in a 4 star...) and we had low expectations but that room was really poor and not worthy of a 2 star hotel, not even a 1 star hotel... This fact didn't ruin our trip because we absolutely loved London and we only used the hotel to sleep but i wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone, but definitely recommend London! What a city!

We stayed for the second time this week for 2 nights and were very pleased with everything again. This is a budget hotel with small rooms, dated decor and no frills but the beds are comfy and reception give you soap and shampoo etc if you ask for it.
The breakfast is more than adequate as there is so much on offer. Cooked English, cereal, pastries, buns and cookies, toast and rolls, cold meat and cheese and lots and lots of different kinds of fruit. If you want more of anything you can have it. Tea and coffee are available free all day and you can use the kitchen to cook up to 9pm in the evening.
It is very close to Gloucester Road station and Earls Court and it is easily possible to walk to The Natural History Museum, Science Museum and Victoria and Albert Museum as we did.
There are lots of shops and pubs close by and a post office and 2 supermarkets very near the station.
The staff are all really genuinely friendly and want to be of as much help as they can to make your stay enjoyable.

This hotel is in a good location, just down from a tube station. But it is not a good choice for Americans, particularly first timers. Our room was microscopic, the bed was not a double bed but a 3/4 bed like we buy for children. My husband is husky and I am not exactly petite, so we were very cramped all the way around. The bath and shower were some better, but you have to ask for everything - soap, etc. (I knew this from Tripadvisor so I brought everything I needed). The lift is so small that only the two of us could fit in at once although it is supposed to hold 4 people. (The breakfast is including in the price of the room and is substantial and nicely served, but if you are not used to English food prepared by Serbians, then this place is not for you). The staff is very friendly and helpful, but that is just not enough.

Room Tip: This would be fine for a solo traveler for one or two nights.

We talk about London where all rooms are small and pricey. Considering this, Saint Simeon hotel is a perfect budget option, clean, with very helpful staff, next to Picaddily, District and Central line, nice breakfrast for english standards with plenty of fruit.
The only inconvinience is the room size, for those who can afford a bigger one, and the distance for those who want to go to East London for business or pleasure.

There is no doubt this is the best area of London that I have stayed in for such a good price. It is a bit of a mish mash inside with the interior and the room I stayed in had a shower but with no where to hang up the shower head. It seems the house has been converted with as minimal as possible, alot of blocked off doors etc. The breakfast is good and plentiful. You have to say no thanks. Its not top quality food but still good. I found my room clean. I have never stayed in a hostel but it has that feel. The staff were very friendly. I needed to go to London on a budget and this allowed for this.
