“Bad nights sleep”

Would not class this as a 4 star at all. Luxurious double is actually a bog standard double with a very hard bed, broken curtains that let's lots of light in, a balcony you can't use, no biscuits with tea tray, minimum toiletries and no way of opening a window. The breakfast is a very poor continental breakfast and the cleaning staff seem to leave their cupboard open all the time that spills out in front of our room.

My wife and I booked three days in one of the apartments, which are only a minute away from the hotel. The apartment had a small kitchen with a fridge, microwave and sink, which was a bonus. The room was spacious, but it took until the final night before we had a TV that worked despite notifying the desk on the first morning. Breakfast was continental but very good, which is more than can be said for the girls on duty in the breakfast rooms, who were rude and abrupt.

Good value for London and very close to Earls Court station and also benefitting from having plenty of eating out places to choose from.

We had 50/50 thoughts reading the reviews but were pleasantly surprised. Allocated 4W on ground floor (upgraded to a 2 bed) which was perfect. Simple but suited all our needs. The rooms were clean and tidy and they provided a travel cot with bedding. All the facilities were provided and even though apartments, they provided daily service of the rooms which we didn't expect. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Thank you

Room Tip: Perfect if needing to vista Earl's Court as right opposite

I've booked this hotel through Hotwire and to be honest I were hoping for another hotel and were quite disappointed when I read the reviews about this one but to be fair the whole experience was not that bad at all.

I stayed at the Mayflower hotel for a total of 10 nights. and yes this was the smallest hotel room that I've ever been to but in the other hand it's London! I didn't expect anything more. (not sure tho how are the other hotels in London compare to this one since I have not been to any other hotel in this city)

I've booked the single room two separate times and received the standard double room both times. and I can imagine that I would have had some issues with the size of the room if I were not by myself.

other than the size of the rooms and the elevator, the rooms were really clean, the front desk staff were really nice and helpful (both day and night shifts) and the breakfast was not anything special but decent.

the location is pretty spot on, only couple minutes walking to the Earl's court station and all the banks and food places you might need and I also didn't have any issue sleeping at nights (didn't notice the train noise, and the beds were really comfy)

all and all, with that price I would definitely consider coming back to this place if I ever want to be close to that part of town

Having been disappointed by small 'boutique' hotel with badly thought out rooms taking a room at a lower price from a hotel in the same group seemed risky on the face of it. However, pleasantly surprised in that the room functioned very well, 2 of us could get around the room, get in and out of bed without climbing over each other. Front desk were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was an adequate spread. Only issue was the ever present background noise of the tube, hence the average score. We stayed 3 nights in all, would stay again if room was the same. Thank you.

And then work starts on engineering cutting track all night till 5 am no sleep at all Phoned reception, said they were fill and could not move me, funny still showing avsliabilty on the booking site, they just did not want to know.

Stayed here for a weekend with my partner in December '13. Was shocked when we got to our room, to say it was small would be an understatement. to get dressed one had to literally sit on the bed while other got dressed and vice versa. room was so small. for the price we paid i expected something a bit bigger. we decided to go down for breakfast, the room was soo crowded and small we just walked out. wasn't happy at all. its near the tube which is handy but thats about the only good thing about it.
