“Nice Quiet Hotel”
Reviewed April 9, 2013

I stayed in this Hotel on Tuesday 26th March in the annex which was situated in a Cul-de-Sac over the road from the main building. The area was nice and peaceful with not much traffic so a good nights rest was had.I paid £99 for the room which was reasonable value for the area. The room itself was small but had a kingsize bed which reduced the space. The bathroom was quite nice and very clean.Pubs and plenty of places to eat were within a couple of hundred metres.I would use this hotel again if I was on a budjet visiting London.

Despite the online booking system failing, we called and booked over the phone and got an upgrade from the annex building to the main building. We paid £69 for a double room only, and got the £89 room equivalent.

Room was cosy, modern and had plenty of tea/coffee making equipment. Flat screen tv and a fantastic shower.

Had air conditioning too that was handy, considering the heating was on full blast!

Fantastic location in Victoria (2 minutes from Victoria Apollo Theatre - Wicked!) and (5 minutes from Victoria Train Station).

Plenty of places to eat and drink nearby too.

Staff were very formal and efficient.

We had everything that we needed and felt more than at home.

Room Tip: Rooms 501, 502 and 503 are perfectly placed by the entrance to reception, without having to climb an...

Stayed for one night whilst on a business trip. Wanted a hotel close to London Victoria station. Got the last room available, in a separate annexe, which is just across the road from the main hotel, itself only a 5-7 minute walk from the station and quite straightforward to find.

The room was a small double but very comfortable, clean and well-equipped. I was pleasantly surprised at how quiet the room was and I slept well.

There isn't a restaurant in the hotel itself for an evening meal but these are loads of places nearby, really good choices to be had whatever your tastes.

I would stay there again if circumstances required me to do so. A decent hotel for the money.

We stayed here recently as we were going to a concert in London.
Good points :
- close to Victoria and pimlico underground stations
- close to good cafes and pubs / bars
- clean rooms
- good value
- friendly staff

The rooms are a bit on the small side, but are great if you are just looking for somewhere to sleep in London.

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. I had booked a room in the annex. The room was very small but had all the basics and was clean, however the whole building looked very tired and would benefit from an upgrade. We came back to the room on the first night to find the heating not working (it was well below freezing outside) and so we spent a very chilly night and this was compounded by a very drafty window. So all in all a very uncomfortable night. We complained at reception the following morning and the manager( who was very helpful) offered to move us into a room in the main building ( and complementary breakfast both days to say sorry) which was a totally different experience. The room was warm, quiet and comfortable. The hotel is well situated and easy walking distance to Victoria underground. Rooms in the main build are value for money and the hotel is well situated for a short break to London. I would advise anyone booking this hotel to book a room in the main building.

Room Tip: Book a room in the main building not the annex, ask for a room at the back as they are quiet with no...

I booked this hotel after reading previous reviews and wasn't disappointed by what I found at this clean, reasonably-priced hotel. It was just down the Belgrave Road from Victoria Station and very near Buckingham Palace, Kings Road and many other attractions
Whilst the room was a bit on the small side you expect this in London - and not too noisy at night
The bathroom had a good selection of toiletries and plenty of clean towels every day
The breakfast room was bright and the food very good
Staff were all busy but friendly and our stay was problem free
I'd certainly use this hotel again

Room Tip: We had room 407- this is in the main hotel at the front
