I've used the Grand Plaza twice - once for a girlie weekend and then again with my family. Both times I stayed in the executive suites which slept 4. The rooms are enormous - loads of space. The kitchenette is functional and well resourced with plates, glasses and pans. House-keeping was efficient with a daily supply of fresh toiletries. The location is fab; just off the high road and very close to both Bayswater and Queensway tube station and walking distance from bus into Piccadilly.

We enjoyed our weeks stay at the Grand Plaza. We stayed on the third floor, the apartment was clean and quite, with helpful and friendly staff. The apartment was small and a bit rickety but was more than adequate for what we needed. The Grand Plaza is well located in Bayswater, within easy walking distance to two tube stations and Hyde park. The choice of restaurants in Bayswater is amazing. There are also supermarkets nearby. From this central location we were able to visit all the attractions in London we wished to see.

Very disappointing after seeing pictures of hotel on Internet. We were given a serviced apartment which turned out to be on lower ground floor which to us was in basement. Only view outside was brick walls. Reception could not offer us another room - non available. I booked this taking my grandchildren on visit to London who were on holiday from Dubai. Very disappointed.

Well for starters the word 'grand' implies that something is magnificent and large in size yet you couldn't even swing a cat in our 2 bedroom apartment that costs over $400 a night. The staff are far from helpful, the Manager is just a grumpy old man who thinks he is the world best charmer and the reservation staff don't know their butt from their elbow.

Very disappointed in our stay here and would advise the owners to invest in some friendlier and more helpful staff.

Located close two underground stations, several supermarkets, restaurants and the excellent Bayswater Arms pub this is good accommodation at what we thought was a reasonable price for London. We found the staff to be efficient and our fourth floor apartment was spacious and clean, although the route from reception to our lift was somewhat convoluted and I wouldn't want to be navigating it in an emergency. The apartment contained a well equipped kitchenette, complete with crockery, cutlery. microwave etc. and the bathroom was bigger than some we have come across. All in all this was a good base for our London holiday and I would stay here again.

Room tip: Ask for an upper floor room, some of the basement rooms are a bit cell like.
