Despite a rather rocky start (avoid apartment in the lower ground floor - cold and damp) the benefit of the location and great service from staff outweighed the negatives. There was a glitch in the accommodations but the management compensated with an upgrade the second night - there were 4 of us and the 'quad' apartment was totally adequate (upgrade provided second sleeper bed with a little more sleeping space. Accommodation is relatively spacious for London area - facilities in the rooms were new and very clean. Amenities were really good for a furnished apartment - including toiletries and daily change of towels. Perfect for visiting Hyde Park, Kensington Palace and Gardens - as well as Portobello Road and environs in Notting Hill. Short bus journey to all attractions - or subway if preferred. This was a 'sister getaway' and it was great for personal travel and catering - restaurant limited to breakfast so not a good choice for business travel.

Rooms n reception area nice n modern. Staff were very helpful recommending attractions for the kids.

We checked into a one bedroom apt for six.

Location is fantastic n near to eateries n transport points.

Stayed for 2 nights with my girlfriend at the end of november, after getting our room key of reception I was a bit annoyed to find we had to go outside through the courtyard in the rain to our room, but on entering our room we found another couple in our room! We went back to reception on received no apology and we were given another room, this room was ok bar the heating did not work. We complained to reception on our way out to explore the city and were told it would be fixed by the time we got back, we arrived back and the room was freezin it was just 2 or 3 degrees out and felt around 5 or 6 in the room! Would not reccomend
