We had a two day layover in London on our way back to the states. When I went find a place I was really hoping to not spend a small fortune which is of course difficult in London. We were able to get a room here for the two nights we needed. It was super easy to find right near the kings cross tube stop. The staff was nice but HOLY COW was the room small. I mean, the bed took up the entire room small and the bathroom was like a tiny alcove with a sliding door. We could both barely be in the room at the same time. Since it was only for two days we made it work but anything longer would have been miserable. Oh and breakfast was good. And included.

Room Tip: Ask for something that is a decent size!

We chose this B&B for it's proximity to Euston - not wanting to drag suitcases on the underground.
A short walk from Euston, and even closer to King's Cross and St. Pancras, coupled with promises of a cooked breakfast, an en-suite bathroom (certain rooms only), and good reviews, we felt it would be a good choice. The Meridiana is very dated but clean.
Our good-sized, family room, in the basement and next to the breakfast room, had plenty of drawer space (although the drawers should, at least, be vacuumed between each occupancy) and a double wardrobe with ample clothes hangers. The mattresses were very firm and spare pillows were provided. Being so close to under and over-ground stations meant that there was a constant rumbling of trains so light sleepers need ear plugs.
Other than cornflakes and muesli and toast, the cooked breakfast on offer was 'an English breakfast'. Not everyone wants to start the day with a fried egg, fried (poor quality) sausage, fried bacon and baked beans, swimming in fat. On the second day, I asked if it were possible to have scrambled egg. It wasn't a problem but, this too, was swimming in grease. On the third day, it seemed that a boiled egg did prove to be a problem. Only full fat milk was available so, with no fruit or yoghurt as an option, those who suffer with high cholesterol should give this B&B a wide berth. The breakfast room seats only 17 people and guests are often left waiting their turn; some just gave up on having breakfast.
Be warned that a 5% charge is made to those wishing to pay their bill by credit card.

We stayed at Hotel Meridiana for one night after seeing a concert at the Emirates Stadium. I chose this hotel because of its convenient location, very near Kings Cross Station (Piccadilly Line), its value for money (breakfast being included) and its good reviews on Trip Advisor.

Overall, we were very happy with our stay. Check-in was quick and painless, our room was small but adequate to suit our needs; with 2 small but comfortable beds, pine furniture, wash basin, small flatscreen TV and tea/coffee facilities (could have done with some more coffee mate). Spare pillows and bed lined was provided and everything appeared pretty clean.

The hotel was tucked away from Euston Road and Kings Cross Station which helped to reduce the noise at night. I would recommend wearing earplugs if you're a light sleeper. The cooked breakfast the following morning was served quickly and efficiently, despite a largish number of guests trying to fit into a very small dining room. I'd definitely recommend staying at Hotel Meridiana if you're looking for a cheap and convenient place to stay in central London.

Room Tip: Rooms at the top of the hotel are probably quieter, being further away from the road. However, sever...

We were looking for a hotel to spend the night before continue our trip to Belgium. The location is very convenient two blocks apart of St. Pancras and King Cross. Cheap. Personnel is very courteous. The room for tow may be is a little small but it is average size for London's this type of Hotels.
Since our depart was in the afternoon we took advantage of the day to walk London. The people allow us to leave our luggage at the hotel until our departure from London. And WiFi included for free.
I Loved it.

Stayed here for five nights with my girlfriend. Rooms are a little small, but you have everything you need. We had a room with ensuite. Our room was cleaned every day. Great location - a one minute walk from Kings cross st. Staff in reception were really nice and helpful.

We weren't crazy about the english breakfest and the staff serving it weren't worht writing home about.

But overall we had a really nice stay, and compared to the location it is cheap living here!

London is a very expensive city, when I was looking at b b and could not find anything at a reasonable price, I looked at small hotels and saw the Meridiana hotel. Checked reviews on trip adviser , Ok .
The hotel is just off the Kings Cross St Pancras area so great location .
Rooms small , but clean little night nose, ok for what you pay. 85 pounds.
Breakfast s full English , ok
For what you pay a good value!

Mike
