Description: Launched in April 2012, Yoobi, London’s first temakeria, takes inspiration from Brazil and pushes the sushi experience in an exciting direction. Freshly made temaki rolls, featuring uniquely developed flavour combinations, are served to eat in or enjoy on the go. A range of creative recipes use the highest quality natural ingredients; from their own rice blend to the finest sustainably-sourced fish and fresh wasabi to locally sourced vegetables. The name is derived from the word ‘yubi’, Japanese for fingers, which reflects the ‘hands on’ nature of Yoobi’s food.

This place was aiiiiiight. I mean good. But not amazing. The rankings on TA are losing their value. Atmosphere was nice. Food was nothing exceptional.

Popped in on my last London weekend for a late lunch with friends.
Great design, efficent and friendly staff (not to mention the good looking manager, the Sushi is fresh but he is HOT!- Girls worth a visit just to get a smile from him)
Recommend the Citrus Salmon hand roll.

Most importantly, the food is very tasty in this place. The concept works - temaki or maki (handrolls of small ordinary maki rolls) in over a dozen different flavour combinations, with many being very unusual. My favourites include the citrus salmon and the sun-dried tomato/cream cheese rolls. The restaurant is very clean with wooden furniture/accessories and the staff are friendly. It's also great value - strikes the right balance between somewhere budget and somewhere upmarket. My only minor niggle is that some of the side dishes (e.g. green beans or broccoli with black bean sauce) come directly out of the fridge in a plastic pot. Ideally, dishes like this could (and should) be served heated. But the sushi is good enough to make that point rather insignificant in the grand scheme of things.

Had a little snack here today, super fresh and tasty. Wish I'd have found it earlier so I could have eaten more

We dropped in by chance and had an excellent dinner. Everything was fresh and from excellent quality. Very good service!
