Great pub within easy reach of Westminster, good selection beer. Food a huge disappointment, 'Pulled barbecued beef sandwich' wasn't a sandwich at all, just a bruschetta with a thin covering of beef covered in cheese accompanied by tepid, inferior chips cut from small potatoes. Poor quality, poor value

We loved this neighborhood pub. The food was great, and the beer plentiful. Don't be put off by the crowds. Most of the people hang out on the main floor, which makes you think you'll never get a drink or get to eat. But, there's an upper floor dining room that is usually not crowded at all.

Ate here while staying at the Doubletree down the road. Very good food although there was only one overworked lady serving and she could have done with some help on a busy Friday evening. Nice choice of beers and cider.

You can see the hotel from this pub, disappointingly on a warm night the licence for outside tables& chairs ends at 930pm so we ended up standing to drink, hence only the one drink!

Great food, service and very cold beer. Menu selection was very good. No crowd little noise. Peaceful dining experience
