Description: THE MEGARO - THE EATERY Freshly sourced ingredients run all the way through our menu, from salads to steaks. Brunch is a big deal for us and our favourite (kind-of) meal of the day. Providing all our diners with bottomless champagne, wine or prosecco to go with their brunch, we think it makes us pretty popular. Another thing that gets people talking is our pancakes! Head over to Instagram and check, if you don’t believe us. Even better, head over here and we’ll show you why. FIRE UP THE GRILL At The Megaro Eatery, we work closely with the best regional suppliers, sourcing top-quality meat for British classics such as Buccleuch steaks and hearty burgers. Open all day for whatever you fancy, we serve delicious meat and fish cooked on our Josper Grill. To satisfy your sweet tooth, why not try a piece of our Amalfi Torta Limone or vanilla & blood orange cheesecake? That’s not all – there’s a tempting list of wines and after-diner cocktails to choose from.

Very good breakfast with plenty of choice for everyone. Not cheap but quality. Very friendly staff. I had a French breakfast. No idea why it's called that. Tasty though.

Went for a family meal here (all grown ups) and whilst the food was pretty good and the service attentive I have to admit it felt a little pricey at over £200 for 5 people (one bottle of house white and 6 or 7 other drinks). I would very happily return here if it was slightly better value but I thought charging £14 for the aubergine parmigiana was a bit steep given I’ve had larger starter portions for half the price. Having said that it was nice.
So,sorry to sound so harsh, but I do feel the fun of eating Italian is to get good quality and good value and this restaurant only delivers on half of this.

With modern decor this eatery has a relaxed, informal feel and contemporary menu. Staff are attentive and friendly. We only wanted light lunch so chose starters but we were told the portions might be small so we added sides. Glad as the chips were really delicious although the tasty Scotch egg was a good size meal for ‘light’ lunch. Location just opposite Kings Cross St Pancras, it was convenient for a meal on arrival in London.

This was my first visit to The Megaro Eatery. We shared a plate of charred squid and for the main I had the lamb rump and my friend had the chicken glazed with honey. It was very tasty. The lamb was cooked to perfection. We finished the meal off by sharing the buttermilk pannacotta and apricot tart. Again, very tasty. The staff was very friendly and even though the place was quite busy our waiter was very attentive and made sure that everything was to our satisfaction. Would definitely recommend that place and will be back soon again.

Great place in the heart of King's cross.
Great food offering with the all day dining experience, with food that changes throughout the season. Hidden downstairs a gem of cocktail bar, a 1920 s style with low lights and great speakeasy cocktails. If you are in King's cross is a must try.
