“Going to a concert at the HMV Appollo? Eat Here.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 17, 2012

Funky converted Firestation. The interior is quirky-original. The food is top quality.

Visited Saturday14th July we ate:
starters of goats cheese brioche with beetroot salsa and smoked salmon and rocket - excellent.

Mains: fish puttanesca spaghetti, and pizza (fantastic thin crust topped with lip-smacking chorizo).

This place looks like a bar but punches way above it's weight in the food quality department.

And after you've stuffed your face you can lounge on one of the sofas and guzzle an ice bottle of cava (perfect, and reasonably-priced).

Highly recommended.

This is an awesome place to meet lots of locals and enjoy some wonderful food. Bring an appitite because it is all good. Very crowded so come early and enjoy a drink outside while you wait....well worth it!

“Good place to meet up”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 19, 2012

Great for a couple of drinks or a meal. Very close to Hammersmith Tube station. Lounge bar area is spacious. They had the football going on, on a large screen. Loads of people around, but it never felt too overcrowded.

“Fantastic Lunchtime Food”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 24, 2012

I have attended 'The Old Fire Station' a few times over the last year, solely with a customer for lunch meetings. The food served is always fantastically cooked and tastes delightful. Our favourite is the Steak, served with home made chips, garlic butter and salad. The Haddock and Chips as well as the Sausage and Mash is also recommended, followed by the Eton Mess or Chocolate brownie. The presentation of the food is always great and is lovely and quiet during every lunchtime we have been there.

The seating is comfortable and the staff always friendly. I can imagine it gets busier during the evening as 3/4 of the area is a pub and 1/4 is seated restaurant.

The toilets are always clean and nicely laid out as well.
