This was beyond all doubt the highlight of the trip to London. Extremely funny production, amazing staging and wonderfully talented children. Please invest the £1 in opera glasses just to see up close the expressions on turnbulls face - award winning

We loved the musical. Great story, great stage props and works and the actors were brilliant. It always amazes me to see such young actors so dedicated and focused. Could not quite figure out how such young children do 2 performances a day one ending at 23:00. When do they sleep ....or go to school?? I really recommend the play as it was very entertaining. Only slight comment is the theater is a little shop worn and the stalls seating (we were in J 15 and16) are quite flat so if there is an even slightly tall person in front of you it is hard to see. It would be great if the theater floor had a bit more of a pitch to it. Still we had a great night out.

I managed to book seven front row tickets for Matilda the Musical for Wednesday 10th April 2013, for myself and six of my friends.

This was one of the best choices I ever made organising this trip. The show was an absolute delight. The cast was amazing and the children were outstanding. We knew Matilda was going to be a good show, but it totally exceeded our expectations.

From the moment the show started the entire cast lit up the stage with enthusiasm and magic. The storyline was twisted in an act of shear genius which thrilled us as an audience and kept us interested.

The cast has nine children who are the are relativly main and they were outstanding. The amount of energy and talent was overwhelming. Our Matida was played by Chloe Hawthorn and she made us cry with the amount of talent she portrayed.

Sitting on front row was a magical experiance in itself, we had characters fly over our heads on swings and the cast dancing literally a meter away from us. The ticket was £65 which was very reasonable and average for a theatre ticket and for front row that is considerably good value, so my advice is book a few months in advance and ring seetickets the number on the offical website to search for the best tickets. Also if you can get a group of ten together then tickets on the front row are avaliable for £45 which is amazing. Be warned this offer may not be avaliable in school holiday time.

The merchindise was reasonable and the whole theatre was a delight to look at and be in the experiance was an utter joy, an experiance not to be missed at any cost. So don't waste any time and get yourself down to the Cambridge Theatre in Covent Gardens and book your tickets to the most amazing show in the Westend.

One of the most cleverly and hilariously written things I have ever seen. Tim Minchin is a genius! Great for all ages

This is one of the best new musicals I've seen in a while. If you loved the book or the movie or both or if you're completely new to the story - go and see this. The Music and Lyrics are amazing but it's the staging and the performances from the children that will make you leave the theatre wishing you could be a kid again. Highly recommended
