I traveled abroad Jan-May 2010 and stayed here the entire time. This is a really great location. It is located in the Middle Eastern area of London off of Edgware Road. When I stayed here there was a service that cleaned the rooms and changed the beds once weekly. There was a 24/7 receptionist in the lobby and the door was secured so very safe. The noise of the streets can be heard in the bedrooms but this is so no matter where in central London you stay. I got used to it within a few weeks. The upper floors have great views - the London Eye is visible from one side of the building. There is are two grocery stores nearby, a drug store (Boots) and several coffee shops not to mention countless hookah locations. There is a friendly pub across the street with friendly staff as well. In my particular flat there were 5 people living there. Based on that my only complaint was that the single mini-fridge was not large enough for us; but we managed. One additional note; the washing machine/drier is one and the same unit and it takes a few times to dry your clothes. Hangers and drying racks are supplied as are towels and bedding. The rooms are a bit small (European style) but there is a common living area to make up for it - complete with television. Close to Paddington station (the way to the airport, LHR), Oxford St (shopping) and other central London attractions including Royal Parks (Hyde Park).
