It is continent for people to stay if you are alone or you wan to save money. However, male and female live in the same room and you have to prepare your own staff. There is free WiFi in the lobby but the public computer is very slow.

Room Tip: The picture on the website is better than when you actually live.

The good: It's cheap and close to everything and a 5 minute walk from Lambeth North tube station. Breakfast is free, wifi is free and WORKS in the rooms. Beds are comfortable and linen is clean and free.
The bad: Weak, scalding showers where you cant5 change the temperature, stove broken in kitchen, they charge for lockers and towels and there's no room to open suitcases in the dorms.

Enjoyed my stay. The pictures I have seen must be out of date as I didn't see any mould on the walls and considering the room is for so many people it was surprisingly tidy.
Staff know a lot about where to go in London and were quite friendly even though they were very busy.
Only a few mins walk to Lambeth Walk station (abt 5 mins I guess) and I walked to BIG BEN in 15 minutes.

Room Tip: Buy an oyster card to get around london

It's a fairly large hostel, with three floors, and a bunch of 12 and 14 people dorms. Breakfast is just bread and jam and reeally plain cereals. The people at reception weren't that friendly, either. However, I had a great stay at this hostel! You can expect to see mostly young travellers here, I met so many people from all over the world that are passionate about travelling like I am! if you are alone, or just with one other person, you will definitely be able to form a group of people to go to the pub with! Location is awesome, too! People are complaining that it's over priced, but I think compared to other hostels in literally the centre of London, it's reeally fair. You're like a 2 minute walk to an english pub, close to bank, groceries, places to buy stamps, etc. We had dinner at the Turkish restaurant nearby... VEERRRYYY NICE PLACE. :) Honestly, this is a pretty prime location for while you're in London! I had a good time and maps and other tourist information were in the lobby, there was like hundreds of flyers and suggestings for what to do in London. Definitely an ok place to stay!

Room Tip: All rooms the same, pretty much.

We made this hostel work. It wasn't unbearable, just uncomfortable and overpriced. Four of us booked bunks in the 14 mixed dorm. There was an air conditioning unit in the closet in the room and it kicked on and off SO LOUDLY all night long. Impossibly frustrating. The hallway outside our room smelled of piss badly. One person from our group had her reservation lost and was made to sleep in the all male dorm. The wifi didn't work outside reception. On the other hand, there were fresh sheets and a tube station nearby. We coped by wearing ourselves out during the day so we could go back to the hostel and just pass out.

Room Tip: Terrible AC or water heater noise in the 14 bunk mixed dorm. It made noise all night.

If you want to skip and ignore all the terrible reviews like I did and stay in this hostel, don't complain no one warned you.

If you want to stay in a small alley far away from either tube station or bus stops, stay here.

If you want to suffocate in a room which accommodates 15 people and which has absolutely no air conditioning or windows when temperature reaches 30 c degree everyday, then come.

If you want to be woken up at 2a.m. only because their stupid staff had key in the wrong entries, which leads to your beds being double booked, and you need to show another member of staff the receipt of your payment of four nights stay as proof, then after they realised it's their fault, you are asked to share a bed with your friend so that they can fit those double booked people in, do stay in London Eye hostel.

In short if you want bad customer service, come to London Eye hostel.

If you want to have only icy water for shower on the first day of your stay, and only boiling water for shower on the last day of your stay, choose London Eye hostel.

If you want to use unstable wifi, stay here in London Eye hostel.

If you want to sleep in a bunk so law you can't even sit on your bed, come to London Eye hostel.

If you want to write a review as negative as can be in the last night of your stay, because you're so empressed you can't even wait until check out, choose London Eye hostel.
