The space is great - lots of exposed brick and industrial fittings but the much-praised coffee and food were a let-down. The cappucinos and lattes tasted fairly ordinary and on each occasion arrived barely luke-warm. The sourdough toast with home-made marmalade was tasty but our eggs benedict and veggie breakfast were very disappointing because they were cold (probably due to waiting around in the kitchen for 45 minutes). At £9.95 and £8.50 respectively they were poor value as the portions were so small.

Apart from the lovely, smiley Japanese (?) waitress, the other staff were rather brusque and off-hand. But whatever we say, I think this place will continue to be very popular with the Shoreditch crowd (and wannabees) with their obligatory Joe 90 specs, skinny jeans and iPad Minis - very much a case of style over substance.

A great find on the door step.
In an old industrial building cleverly converted.
Fantastic coffee, great menu and well cooked food.

My sister has recently moved to London and I wanted to take her for Sunday brunch. I read a review on tripadvisor that made me give this place a go and I am not in any way disappointed. Ozone offers BOTH great coffee and great character. Had such a great morning there I felt the need to spread the word.

Ideally situated close to Old Street Tube (Leanord St is Exit 4). As soon as you enter, it's warm and inviting with a rustic industrial feel (exposed brick/steel pipes).

It's a good sign when a restaurant is buzzing at 10am on a Sunday morning with both lone, couple and group diners. My sister and I grabbed an absolutely delicious coffee each, fresh toast with marmite, the amazing and generous omelette and delicious eggs benedict. We loved every minute of it and could have quite happily sat there all afternoon chatting away ordering more food!

The staff are all very friendly and helpful. My only gripe was how long it took for our food to come so beware the relaxed vibe is not just for the diners. However, what's great and made this all better was that even when there was a long line of people waiting we never once felt rushed to eat up and ship out.

The place was packed by 11:30am - go, enjoy!

This is my favourite place to get a coffee around Old Street. The coffee is punchy and full of character. The atmosphere and decor is classy and fun. Service is great.

Tip -if you do go here make sure to go downstairs and see where they roast the coffee.

Cool, characterful, laid-back, industrial-feeling but still fairly comfortable, Kiwi-originated place serving very good coffee and a decent brunch menu. As befits the Silicon Roundabout location, laptops and designer stubble are more or less compulsory among the customers. Service can reputedly be slow but it was fine on our visit. Pancakes/French toast for three plus orange juice and lots of coffee came to about £15 a head with service.
