“Very good!”
Reviewed March 14, 2014

Near the Paddington Station, a very comfortable room and clean facilities. The breakfast is simple but very good, makes us feel home. The staff is very nice and I felt pretty well there. Does not have an elevator, can be a little bit tiring for elder people, but it's not a big issue, since they have same level rooms. Hope to come back one day

A 5min walk from Paddington Station & a 10min walk from Oxford Street what more could u ask . 3 of us shares a bedroom ,beds were clean ,clean towels & a warm room 2 come back 2 after a long day sight seeing . A very basic breackfast but u could eat how much u wanted . We were on the 1st floor so didnt have 2 worry bout the stairs . The young gentlemen behind the desk were very helpful & very plesant & if u need directions printed them out 4u . Would stay here when i come back 2 London :))))))

Room Tip: Try & get room between 1-9 these dont have alot of stairs 2 walk up

We booked a family room for 4 people and it was extremely cramped. The fact that it called the Classic Hotel is very misleading as it is a 2/3 star bed and breakfast at the very most. We were put up on the fourth floor so had to drag children, bag etc up four flights of extremely steep and narrow stairs for the duration of the stay so this was not ideal. The room was clean but the windows were broken, rotten and mouldy. The traffic and street noise was very loud. The breakfast room was a very cramped basement ( another flight of narrow stairs) with no windows or air, breakfast was ok, nothing special. Because it was half term week we had to pay around £120.00 per night but the following week it would be £61.60 per night!!! Would not ever go back there again.

Room Tip: If you stay here, ask for a lower floor room to avoid exhaustion.

Small hotel in a perfect location for me. Right near Paddington station and there was some nice restaurants and bars around the corner from here. Staff were quick and helpful. Small bathroom but this wasn't a problem.

On a normal day I would probably recommend this hotel as it's cheap and cheerful for London, however New Year's Eve cost me and my partner £270 to stay the night. This included a 'continental' breakfast which consisted of 3 types of cereal, egg and beans, bread and a few other random things.

When we arrived at the hotel, the reception area looked lovely and the staff were friendly. However when we got to our room it wasn't so lovely, the room was freezing cold and the wall had oil like stain all over, the nicest part of the room was the bathroom and even this was tiny.

Disappointed, poor value for money

Good location, quiet, very clean and tidy, staff very freindly. I only stayed one night so did not get the full benifit from the stay, it was dark when I arrived and dark when I left in the morning.
The breakfast room is very small and can be extrmley hot if everybody turns up at the same time. The actual breakfast is continental with 'eggs and beans' for that would prefer something a bit more traditional.
I had a single room right at the top of the stairs, it was very clean and tidy, well designed to fit everything in. So, all in all a very good hotel at a reasonable price, only downside, breakfast, and in particular the breakfast room.

Room Tip: If I was to stay agin I would go for a double room not single.

Located in Paddington with buss and tube only few minutes away , many restaurants and cafes around the hotel . Takes 5 min walk to hyde park, we loved the neighborhood ! Very kind and helpful staff .
The rooms are small but clean and nice, with the basic needs .However I dont recommend the breakfast at the hotel, the size of the breakfastroom is really limited and no windows .
