Though the location of this hotel was good, everything else was garbage, including the service.
The hotel is advertised as newly renovated, but it still looks run-down and dirty.
They put us in a tiny room in the basement. The hotel also advertised air conditioning, which was just a fan bolted to the wall, and it wasn't working either. The rod for the towel rack broke as I was showering and almost hit my toe. The breakfast room is super tiny, and the food runs out fast so you'd have to get up pretty early and race for your food. One night there was water dripping from the ceiling on to one of the beds. It took forever for someone to come down and fix it. As we were waiting we joked about how the staff was probably just going to stick a bucket under the leak. Sure enough, in came the staff with a bucket. We were scheduled to stay for 5 days but after 2, we just couldn't take it anymore. After several attempts to check out early and get our money back, the manager finally gave it, but on the condition that he charge us for the 3rd night. We were so desperate to get out of there, we had no choice but to settle. The manager didn't even look up at us or apologize or anything. The worst hotel I've ever stayed in and the worst customer service!!
