This market had everything one could ever want in terms of food items. Skip a restaurant and just have breakfast or lunch here. If I lived in London would probably do the bulk of my food shopping here.

This wonderful market, dated back to the 12th century (although now completely different), has passed from big retail distribution, back in the day, to an authentic food court.
Presently the Borough market has food originating from all over the place, including of course some delicacies from the UK, as the meat pies or the cheeses.
There is plenty to choose from, and the ambiance is incredible, making me remember other great markets, as La Boquería, at Barcelona. Lots of color (as you still can buy groceries) and lots of scents from all the places cooking great street food.
Highly recommended!

Nothing fantastic here. Just an average market selling various types of stuff and food. Food is generally overpriced and there is hardly any seating. I think it is good for photography but if you have limited time in London, I dont recommend this place.
