It's hard to find. Scroll back earlier in 2013 and you will find a review from someone who gave fabulous instructions to find the hotel walking from Victoria station. I printed out the review and took it with me. So pleased. I would have gone nuts otherwise trying to find the hotel. In fact every time we wanted to go back to the hotel my children ran into the station to follow the lines on the ground which lead to the correct exit for the hotel. ( as per the instructions on the review). Funny but it worked fine. It's just a few minutes walk when you know where you are going. Hotel is clean and pleasantly furnished. It's functional. We had a basement triple room.( double bed and single). It wasn't big but we fitted fine as we didn't have much luggage.

Hi Caroline,

It’s really nice to know you overall had a good experience. Although I found it surprising to know you struggled with the directions. It only takes 4 - 5 minutes to reach the hotel from any of the Victoria Station exits. Let us know your arrival date in advance if you choose to stay with us again. I’ll personally be there at the station to welcome you and we’ll walk back to the hotel together.

Thank you for staying with us and hope you visit us again with your children.
Warm regards,
Abida.

Second stay at this hotel, great location, pub and shops very near by,my only gripe is that the showers and bedrooms need a bit of a spruce up, will try and post pictures. But overall a good location as a base for seeing London sites just opposite Victoria train and bus station

we spent 3 nights at the comfort inn Victoria. I had booked a family room which shows a double bed and 2 single beds on the website which would have been perfect for my family of 4 with 2 teens. When we checked in I learned that there are 2 configurations to the family room and the one I thought we were getting was not available and we were put into another room with 2 double beds. It works but teen brother and sister would prefer the singles.
The rooms are very small but clean. The pillows are like pancakes but if you ask enough times you can get additioanl ones.
The breakfast was decent.
The location is good. Hotel is nothing special but fit the bill.

Dear Cindy,

Thank you for your feedback.

Room size is generally a bit of an issue in London. We have a limited number of room types you selected in your reservation. So those rooms are assigned subject to availability which is mentioned in the booking confirmation. But we’ll definitely keep in mind your preferences on your next visit.
Thank you for staying with us. Hope to see you again in near future.

Warm regards,
Abida.

Firstly the hotel is in a great location especially if you are arriving at London Victoria station. It is just over Buckingham Palace Road & literally 100 meters away. We arrived a couple of hours early to book in so we left our luggage at reception & on our return our luggage was already in our room. We were shown to our room by a maintenance worker who showed us how to work our air conditioning as it was absolutely boiling hot. I know this may not seem like a big deal to some people but sometimes little gestures can go along way.
Our room was in the hotel opposite the main hotel but was absolutely immaculate!!! It had just recently been decorated & we could definately tell. We had everything that we needed in the room & all the fixtures & fittings were of high quality.
If I did have one minor qualm it was that the room was quite small, but the quality, cleanliness & location far outstripped the room size.
Overall we will be returning to London in the future & we would quite gladly use the Comfort Inn again.

Room Tip: The rooms in the new hotel all have air con, but i'm not sure about the other side.

Dear Dai,

You are absolutely right, ‘…sometimes little gestures can go a long way’. We also believe in it and that’s why we like to use the word host rather than customer service because we want you to feel at home whenever you visit Comfort Inn Victoria!

Hard to find if you are not looking too closely - despite using google maps, I walked past it.
Check in was fine but my room was in the basement.
Sure enough, there was a damp smell in the corridor and the room. But not too overpowering.
The room was tiny.  Nowhere to lay down my case and unpack so had to use the bed.
Small but functional bathroom with shower.
Bedding and towels were clean and the room overall was spotless.
The TV on the wall was tiny but did the job I suppose.
A small table in the corner where I could get my laptop set up and do some work.  Convenient power points at the work table, so no need to get onto the floor to find power points.
WIFI was horrifically expensive  why?  wifi is standard in most hotels at a small fee and many offer complimentary  use.  Breakfast was nice with a good selection of breads, coffee, juices and cold selection.
Well over-priced for the area - but I suppose that is market supply and demand.

Room Tip: not in the basement

We chose the Comfort Inn for 2 reasons.. 1) location and 2) breakfast included.. Both of these lived up to our expectations.. The room was very clean and the beds were both comfortable enough for our family of 4. Because of our choice privileges membership, our room rate included the wifi service free (which would have been a total ripoff at 15 pounds per day).

Being near Victoria Station was the best part of this hotel, grocery across the street, trains, bus, etc so close.. even restaurants very close by, walking distance to Buckingham Palace..

We did have some interesting issues in the hotel. I shared all concerns with the management and they were very receptive..

1) no ice buckets.. never been to a hotel with no ice bucket, they had an ice machine but no bucket, and also no vending machines..

2) in our room, weird wiring required us to turn on the huge overhead room light in order to turn on any other lights. Was annoying when our 6 year olds were sleeping but we wanted to sit at the computer desk.

3) no laundry service or machines.. we traveled light and expected to be able to wash or have things washed. I asked about this and the receptionist googled for a nearby laundry.. I was hoping for a machine at least.. I ended up hand washing in the room!

4) no alarm clock in the room.. there was no way to tell the time in the room (luckily i had a watch!).. all hotel rooms (especially at this price) should contain an alarm clock.

Room Tip: Our room (129) was very nice, a bit small, but clean.. it had a light control problem, but the manag...
