The Luna and Simone is a fun place for budget travelers to stay in London. The rooms aren't big and there isn't a lift, but they are clean and well-kept. Two fun loving brothers run the place and you will meet them at the solid breakfast they serve each morning. There is a computer you can use just off the lobby. This neighborhood has tons of great pubs, shops, and restaurants nearby and is an easy walk to Victoria Station and many attractions. For the money, this is a great value run by good people.

This is a family operated hotel that made us feel at home with their personal attention during our six night stay. Our room was not large but quiet, clean and very comfortable. The bathroom was recently remodeled with high quality tile and fixtures. This is the first time we have seen guests provided with a sit-down breakfast served by the owners. The staff was always friendly and helpful in arranging tours and reservations for restaurants at no cost. Their advise on city highlights and transportation was friendly, efficient and certainly most valuable making this London visit very pleasant.
The location is excellent within walking distance to Victoria/Pimlico stations, The Apollo theater, Westminster Abby, Parliament, Buckingham Palace, the London Eye and other city highlights. We also found a good selection of all levels of restaurants.

We were booked at the Luna Simone back on April 15th for four nights. I think we were one of the last flights into London before the "Plume" shut everything down. The next few days were filled with fun, and uncertainty at the same time as everyone in the hotel, including the wonderful staff, was trying to figure out what to do.

As everyone's flights were getting canceled the staff of the Luna Simone was supportive and did everything they could do to help. We all shared the communal internet computer and the hotel started to have a sort of college dorm feel as everyone was hanging out in the lobby and around the computer comparing notes and possible solutions. Breakfast conversations usually started with, "When were you supposed to leave?".

We only ended up staying one extra night at the hotel before moving on to stay with friends to wait out the volcano. The folks at the hotel were so nice about adjusting peoples reservations and check out times that I actually felt bad having to leave they with an empty room.

The room was clean, comfortable and was only noisy when some idiot was dragging luggage up the stairs and yelling at his buddy, which is not the hotel's fault, seeing as how the world is full of idiots. Plenty of hot water and a hot breakfast each morning.

The next time we are in London we will want to stay at the Luna Simone.

My husband & I just returned from a week's stay at this hotel. It was recommended to us by our daughter who had stayed there previously. We were so well treated by this family we were hoping that we could have stayed longer. Thanks to Bernard,Peter,Mark and the rest of the family,. this was definitely the best choice and we will be returning. We really felt like family while we were there. The breakfast was great and always served up with great hospitality and they were always willing to help with any service that they could.

Had a great 3 night stay when visiting for business reasons. Reasonable price very close to the office I was visiting. Very clean throughout and although the room was quite compact it had all the facilities I needed. Breakfast was great and even though it was very busy there was no delay and the atmosphere was very friendly. Would definitely stay again!

We stayed here for 3 nights in April, and liked it even better than when we had stayed 3 years ago. The room was bigger. Since we're in our later 60's, I had requested a ground or first floor room, and they gave us one on the ground floor very easy to get to. The twins and their families are very friendly and helpful. When we bought a few groceries one evening, to eat in, one of them saw us and brought us 2 dinner plates to use!
When we arrived, it was in the middle of the volcano ash cloud debacle, and we asked if we would be able to stay longer than our reservation stated, if we couldn't get a flight home on time. They said that wouldn't be a problem, which eased our anxieties in a difficult time.
Breakfast was always included, and the hotel is right on the 24 bus line, near Victoria. We would definitely stay there again.

Everything went well; receptionist had our booking and a local map. Room not ready but it was only 11.30am. We booked a quiet top floor and got a quiet top floor. The room was neat, nicely decorated and clean an extra meter in size would have been great but I say the same in my own home. The mattress was firm, which I love, extra pillows were provided. We wanted to go to Leicester Square, bus stopped opposite, we wanted to go the V&A Museum the bus stop in Lupus Road was a few minutes walk away. Served English breakfast in a very light, bright and clean restaurant, you could see into the still room and kitchen, it all looked very orderly. The owners were charming and on duty to say good bye. Thanks a lot.
