We stayed 5 nights and loved the area. We had good options for lunch -- I like fruit and yogurt but also traditional English breakfast was prepared. The room was clean and we had everything we needed. The twins were so friendly and accomodating. They helped with securing us a dependable cab driver (a relative of the twins). Recommendations for tours and nearby restaurants were given. Maps were available. I would stay here again. We were able to open the window for air circulation. I do not know if there is a/c in the summer but March weather was great. Convenient to the tube stations. Nice area for walking.

Room Tip: Ask for one on lower floors.

I stayed at the Luna Simone last August with my mom and could not be happiet with the hotel. It was cute and spotless... Very well run and incrediblely friendly!! The owners of the hotel made the hotel. They were so awesome. We had an issue with the shower in our room one evening and they immediately called the plumber and got someone out that evening to fix it. Then one of the owners came and checked once the plumber had gone to make sure all was well. As well, one of the brothers even walked us to an amazing breakfast restaurant because we unfortunately missed the free breakfast the first morning. The free breakfast was delicious and probably the best free breakfast I have had. It was a bonus having the bus stop right out front. Room tip: I recommend requesting a lower floor as there are not elevators and it can be a bit difficult to carry your luggage up the a few flights. All in all, stay here. Its worth every penny!

We have just returned from England having spent a total of 9 nights at the Luna and Simone. It has been over a year since we last stayed at this wonderful hotel and found that it is still friendly, spotless and exceptionally well run. Standards never slip at this fantastic "hands on" family run hotel.

Thank you Mark for accommodating us on such short notice. It was wonderful to see you all again.

The Luna and Simone is in a perfect location. Close to Victoria Station and easy walking distance to many of the top tourist attractions like Buckingham Palace, Westminster Abbey, the Parliament Buildings, the Thames etc.

In the many years we have been visiting London and staying at the Luna and Simone we have always thanked our "lucky stars" that we discovered this great spot.

Room Tip: We stayed in Room 15 ( Luna ) the first 5 nights and Room 12 ( Simone ) for 4 nights when we returne...

we stayed one night here as we were watching Wicked. It was very clean, good decorative order, the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. It was in the perfect position as we used Victoria station and visited both Westminster Abbey and Tate Britain. We would definitely stay here again.

Stayed at the Luna Simone for the fourth time, and it's still fantastic. The staff are friendly, the rooms are nice and clean, and the rates very good. Location is close to bus and tube, so it's very easy to hop on transit and head out.

Booked this as we were needing a hotel to stay for a few days. Incredible service. A small family run hotel. Very friendly and obliging staff. Superb for both tourists and business guests. Exceptionally clean rooms - and you feel like you are staying at home.Fresh linen, very very clean bathrooms/showers.Tea/coffee provided that actually tastes nice. Breakfast included continental and English- very satisfying. Broadband connections super fast. Only too happy to help if you need anything while you relax in this charming hotel.Very good location naturally with restaurants and coffee houses aplenty in the area and so close to all transport links, with Victoria station 5 minutes walk away. Our room looked onto a lovely small courtyard- a peaceful bonus! Fantastic value for money and needless to say would highly recommend this gem of a hotel to anyone visiting London. We actually extended our stay for 6 days!!We did not expect to find this standard for the price we paid. We will be back!!!!

Room Tip: Just ask any member of the staff to help you as some double rooms come with an extra bed for childre...

Booked this on the recommendation of other TA users and as usual was not let down. Room size adequate in that you could store your suitcases and still walk around the bed, there are coffee/ tea making facilities, a room safe, a radiator which worked (somewhat too well, turned it down most times I entered the room), plus there is a large fan as well (presumably for heatwaves, never used that). Also a hair dryer, and an ensuite with proper shower (no clambering into a bath as in most hotels.)
I don't knew if it has a lift, I didn't see one, we had to climb a few flights of stairs, not an issue for me but if you had problems with stairs this might not be the place for you, double check.
Room was clean, and cleaned every day.
Breakfast was good with friendly service, you can choose from cereals and yoghurt or cooked breakfast, plus toast and tea, coffee, juice. Breakfast by the way is quite early,7-9am, even on Sundays, I guess if you aren't an early riser you might have to skip it.
I timed the walk to Victoria, 7 minutes (fairly brisk walk) you could stroll it in 10, from which it's an easy tube or bus journey to most places in London. Unfortunately the roads around Victoria station are majorly (is that a word?) being dug up at the moment and it's a nightmare finding the right bus stop. Hopefully they will sort this eventually.
Pimlico station is slightly nearer by a couple of minutes but generally more inconvenient for getting around from than Victoria.
There are a few restaurants and pubs on the road up to Victoria which looked ok judging by the fact they seemed quite busy but I never went in any.
I've given it 5 stars based on the price, it's not a 5 star hotel but it was very nice and suited our purpose as a base very well and I'd recommend to anyone else looking for a budget hotel.
