My husband and I found Bernie and Peter, very friendly and welcoming. they make you feel like you are guests in their homes. All other staff was as friendly to us! Clean hotel, good breakfast and location was the best! We will only stay at this hotel next time we visit london.

We stayed her five years ago, loved it then, loved it now. Great price and location. Asked for the same room, #4 ground floor facing street and were lucky it was available. Spotless, and very friendly. Away from tourist areas so nearby restaurants are great and used by locals. Paradise - Indian, O Sole Mio - Italian, Corner Pub/Restaurant Marquis ??? Easy to get to from major sites. We used their recommended Heathrow airport ride at 45 pounds versus 60 to 65 pounds from other quotes. Anthony the driver was excellent in a spotless Volvo station wagon.

Room Tip: Room 4 facing street on ground floor.

Service was great, room was clean, location is excellent (near Victoria station, Kensington Park, Buckingham Palace, starting point for several tours), breakfast is fine.

Room was very small but that is to be expected of London hotels at this price.

No elevator so be prepared for narrow tall-ish stairs when transporting luggage.

Humidity is an issue; we were there on a few warm days and one cool day and the entire hotel was humid on every return. We had to open the window every time we came back and sometimes I had to lean out of the window to cool down.

---

Note: The hotel guide includes a map which is old. It indicates a laundromat behind the hotel but that laundromat was shut down a while ago. There is another laundromat they can point you too, not far away. Note that you need your own detergent (can be bought at adjacent grocery store) and also note although the laundromat closes around 9:30pm, an auto lock on the door activates at 9pm. So it's best to wait inside at 9 if you haven't finished your washing.

Room Tip: You have to carry luggage up stairs

This is a fantastic little hotel in an outstanding location. Pimlico station is less than a five minute walk away and the staff are warm, super helpful and very hospitable. The rooms are small, but very clean and functional. The bed was really comfortable and the shower was excellent. I really couldn't pick a fault with the place, just a lovely, fun, welcoming place to stay, highly recommend and will definitely be back.

We Only stayed for one night but wouldn't hesitate to stay again. There's not a lot I can add to other reviews really - great location, perfectly clean, comfortable, helpful staff, great breakfast etc etc. My mum and I had separate rooms, a twin on the ground floor and a double on the first - the twin was larger then the double, neither particularly big but perfectly adequate for us and out overnight cases! Definitely highly recommended!!

Situated on Belgrave Rd. this hotel is convenient to central London within walking distance of both Victoria train/coach station and the Tate Gallery. We arrived from St. Pancras station and left to Paddington station and in both cases the cab fare seemed reasonable. The #24 bus toward Trafalgar Square is directly across the street and the return bus stops at the door. The is a subway (tube/metro) station a short walk away. Our room was ready on arrival and very clean with a comfortable bed. Mark on the desk when we checked in was very friendly and helpful and helped us upstairs with our bags. There's not much space to put them as the room was very "Compact" but then this is central London. The room had an ensuite with shower which was spotless. No vanity though and so hard to find a spot even for a toothbrush. There was a small balcony as our room was over the front door. The hotel is quiet and the street was quiet at night. Mark was great at general information, giving directions and recommending local restaurants and those we tried were just what he said to expect. The room includes an English breakfast each morning which was tasty and served well by friendly staff. This is a family run hotel owned by friendly, caring twins. I had a cold when there and one of the twins gave me a fresh jar of Manuka Pharm honey as we departed saying he thought I might find it helpful. I fought that cold for a few weeks and yes...the honey was indeed helpful. One just does not expect this sort of a random act of kindness and I was quite overwhelmed and, as it turned out, very thankful.
I understand the room we were in is to be re-done this winter and I would suggest some additional shelving and wastebaskets without lids as the ones there now tip over when you step on the pedal to open the lid. Also I'd suggest putting the in room safe higher in the closet as it's currently hard to access.
Although there is no lift and luggage on stairs is not easy for a lot of older folks I would stay here again as I'm sure that one would readily get help. In my estimation I would give this hotel 4.7 stars and highly recommend it.

Room Tip: Try and get a room on the first floor so there is only one flight of stairs to run up and down.

Stayed here for three nights with my husband whilst visiting the sights of London. It is a very convenient 5 minute walk to Pimlico tube and about 10 mins to Victoria in the opposite direction. The hotel room was very clean, tidy and comfortable with the added bonus of free wifi. Lovely hot shower. Breakfast was good. I would certainly consider staying here again next time I am in London.
