Loved this place and I would recommend it to people visiting London if it is within their budget. The location is very good as Baker Street underground station is few minutes away (walking). The staff are very friendly and helpful (especially the lady who served us during breakfast).

The design of the hotel is very cozy and feels like home-like. The were generous with the toiletries and the shower was good and hot water was never a problem.

The room was a bit small (even though we got the Piccadilly suit)but it was manageable. The bed was ok.

The title says it all. I needed somewhere close to the hospital - couldn't get much closer. Service was quick and friendly. The room was a bit tired but comfortable. The well cooked full English breakfast was a great way to start the day.

Our room was tiny every available space used, so it was difficult to place our suitcases without falling over them. Also it was at the very top of the hotel, with a view to the chimney pots across the street. Note to hotel management it might be an idea to place older clients no higher than the third floor, which is a far as the elevator goes. After saying all that, the room was very clean, warm and the bed comfortable, (it was great being able to open the window) the bathroom if small very well appointed. And even though it faced the street there was not traffic noise to keep us awake. Breakfast in dinning room down stairs was ok, nothing out of the ordinary, the chef needs to practice getting poached eggs soft & hot instead of rock hard & cold. The staff were lovely & helpful. The hotel is in a great location, with short walk to Baker Street tube station, easy access to other destinations.Just a short walk to Regents Park, Madamme Tussards, Oxford St, (for shopping), Sherlock Holmes museum etc. As its in a great location I would stay here again, but now I know I will ask for a room on one of the lower floors. That last flight of stairs is a killer after a day of walking around London.

Room Tip: If your going to be in London for a few days and doing a lot of walking ask for a room no higher tha...

This hotel was suggested by a local hospital where I had day treatment that required my wife and me to spend two nights in London. On the advice of the person who took the reservation we booked a 'suite' which was really a lrge room with a sofa. It was well-eqipped with trouser press, ironing board and refrigerator (empty). Cold on arrival but soon warmed up after I found the radiator valve behind a panel. Bathroom was small but adequate. The hotel advertises a restaurant and bar, but the restaurant was closed, apart from breakfast Both the restaurant and bar were nicely furnished and decorated, and the breakfast was excellent and cooked to order. The few staff we met were extremely helpful. The location is good for local shops and restaurants.

My first night I stayed in a room with a bathroom like a closet. The rest of my stay, I had a room in the basement. This room was pretty nice, staff was nice, front desk was helpful to me, management could use some help in customer relations. Nice location, close to everything you'll like to see and do.

Room Tip: Make sure you take a picture of the room you book online, before you get there so you could see if y...

Hotels in Londen are expensive.
This one is expensive, old and a bit worn out.
But it has an excellent location. Near Mme Tussauds and Baker Street.
Tube station bakers street is only 5 minutes walk.

My room was so small I almost did not fit in.
Needed to squeeze between toilet and sink. Shower was below average.
Squeaky floors.
Free Wifi available.
No mini bar

Freshly cooked breakfast with very friendly staff.

So: excellent location, average hotel. good breakfast.

Room Tip: Avoid the 203, unless you are one of the seven dwarfs.
