Absolutely incredible in every sense. Jane Waldegrave is incomparable as a hostess.
Room and bath immaculate. Breakfasts were delicious and healthy, served in a very
attractive manner. Cannot express my gratitude to Jane as she made my stay
memorable not only because I was there for my granddaughter's wedding but I
left feeling as though I had made a new friend. Location is convenient to London as the train is just a few blocks away. Quiet, friendly neighborhood. I am looking forward to my next
visit to the UK and THE LILAC DOOR.

I LOVE staying in this B&B, and do whenever I stay in London. The beautiful house is in an unexpectedly quiet spot and the immaculate rooms are gorgeous, wonderfully soothing and have everything you could want, from tissues to tea. Jane Waldegrave is an absolutely lovely hostess - friendly, helpful, capable and accommodating. Breakfast looks and tastes delicious. Being there is so relaxing and pleasurable that I often wish I could stay in all day, rather than go out and do what I came to London for!

On arriving at THE LILAC DOOR,I was greeted byJANE,a wonderful person,I was shown directly to my room and served with a pot of tea and a biscuit, the room was a double and very clean,Jane then showed me round the rest of the house,it was like being one of the family, fresh towels were on a heater and a dressing gown was in the room.Breakfast was Superbe, fresh fruit and full continental selection laid out on table, tea and coffee by the pot full.Excellent service all round and great value for the money.
