Since changing jobs I spend quite a bit of time in London on business. My wife booked this as a couples treat less our 3 year old daughter. The location just of Fleet Street is brilliant, very handy for several tube stations. We were upgraded to a junior suite which was lovely! Bar service, front of house, every element of this hotel exceeded my expectations. Even the little touches like GQ magazine to have a thumb through while the wife got ready.

Excelled my expectations in every way, a great hub for central London and next time we plan a trip to London the hotel choice will be so much easier. This one.

Room Tip: Gaucho Steak House is a 2 minute walk on Chancery Lane and is a real treat!

We honestly cannot fault this hotel. Our stay was fantastic from start to finish. We arrived on Friday 8th March 2014 and departed on Sunday 10th March 2014. The hotel was luxurious, well presented, excellently equipped and had everything we could have needed on a weekend away. My Husband had booked the hotel via Expedia, so we had received a good tariff for a standard room. Then prior to the arrival date, the hotel contacted my Husband and asked if he would like to upgrade our room to a suite, for a small additional charge (£50 per night). I can honestly say this was a great choice and was very reasonably priced. Not only did we have a lovely room, with small lounge area, we also had access to the Club Lounge, which offered complimentary drinks (including beer & wine) and a very substantial complimentary continental breakfast. All in all we were very impressed with every aspect of the hotel. We kept walking around saying 'wow' as we realised all that was on offer! It is a good location, with tube and train stations a short-ish walk away (10-15 minutes to the tube at either Faringdon, Charring Cross, or Temple - 20-25 minutes to Waterloo). Our advice; TAKE THE UPGRADE!!! Worth every penny.

Room Tip: we stayed in 518... Great views of the London Eye and Big Ben. Lovely sunsets too!

Very friendly staff, excellent room, great location, very quiet. Arrived Sunday night so dinner menu limited but still very tasty. The whole experience was extremely relaxing and nothing was too much trouble for the staff.

Room Tip: Room 232 is one of the few rooms which doesn't have wndows that open but it does overlook the in...

This was our second visit to the Apex Temple Court and we again found the hotel met all our needs. The location is superb, close to West End and the city but also 5mins to the river. Staff are all excellent , even the cleaners. Everyone is very welcoming. We stayed in a deluxe room, the same one as we stayed in on our previous visit. Improvements have been made to the club lounge with sandwiches available now and cakes. We did however feel the sandwiches were a bit ordinary, ie cheese and pickle etc. Would have been nice to see something a bit fancier like we had in Thailand and Hong kong in their club lounges. We shall return again to the hotel i am sure and hope to see more 4* food in the club lounge.

I am being a bit picky in the review as the hotel is superb and deserves it's ranking. Well done Apex

The hotel had the best price-value balance I have ever seen in London. Staff is so friendly, the rooms are pristine clear and tastefully decorated. I stayed in a City King Room (335) and it was perfect for me. Room is very comfy and the bath tub really helped me to relax after a long day in London. The room service is also good and the prices are reasonable.

Room Tip: 335 is a king bed room and it was comfy and quiet.

We had nice dreams in an excellent bed. The room was a bit too hot when we arrived, but the climatisation is excellent. The situation of the hotel is excellent for cultural activities: Barbican and Tate Modern are reachable in 15 to 20 minutes. Many buses stop just in front of the hotel.
The calm of the room is garanteed by excellent isolation and the situation of the hotel. We think that you should not have your breakfast at the hotel restaurant: there are many better offers round Saint Paul's Cathedral (less than 10 minutes from the hotel).

We stayed at the Apex Temple on Friday 7th March 2014 as we had a function early the next morning and did not fancy getting up at the crack of dawn to travel into London. Upon arrival, we were greeted by the friendly and welcoming reception staff you checked us in quickly and ensured we had everything we needed. Bearing in mind the location, the hotel was unbelievably quiet, with our room overlooking a private courtyard. Would definitely recommend staying here. Don't forget to take your complementary bath Duck, 'Shirley' in this case. There is a different Duck in each of the 8 UK Apex hotels!

Room Tip: Room 32 was on the ground floor and very quiet.
