wedding anniversary and birthday weekend was made even better by this hotel. warm welcome and a very nice lady checked us in with a complimentary upgrade to a suite. room was massive by london standards very clean, modern and comfy. 2 big tv's with sky, mini bar and nice coffee and tea facillities. bathroom was very good big shower big bath and nice toilletries. we booked direct with hotel and received a £10 voucher to use in the hotel bar/restaurant. breakfast was good maybe a little expensive but good none the less. location was good 5-10 min walk to temple tube station or chancery lane is easy walkable also. overall if a romantic break or family or business trip this hotel is perfect. faultless. ps thanks for the updrade.

Stayed for one night whilst having a weekend in London with no kids! Would highly recommend this hotel; great service (including the free upgrade to a room with a balcony and a view over London), large rooms, clean and smart. Only gripe would be the bar; £16 for two G&Ts is expensive but automatically adding a service charge for drinks served at the bar not even table service just feels wrong.

We spent a weekend at the Apex Temple Court and enjoyed every minute. Every comfort has been considered especially in the bathroom which was super. There was no noise at all from either the corridors or other rooms. Breakfast was excellent. All the staff we encountered were charming. We have already booked our return stay.

I booked the Apex Temple after reading the reviews here and everyone is right, it's a brilliant hotel. For a London hotel (in fact for any hotel) the staff are super friendly, the rooms are huge, beds really comfy and bathrooms are massive with big shower and separate bath. I can't praise this hotel enough!

We got a really good deal so we were in the cheapest room but even that was great. I slept so well in the big comfy bed. Our deal included continental breakfast but for £5 each we were able to add on cooked breakfast. The eggs benedict was the best I've ever had. The pcs & printer were great for printing tickets, free and in a convenient spot. The location of the hotel was ideal for shows in the west end and walking to the south bank. The Elemis toiletries were a nice touch along with the Bose sound dock and proper hair dryer (so many hotels have rubbish travel ones!)

We're already planning our next stay at this hotel!

Room Tip: The more expensive rooms have a lovely view onto the courtyard.

Along with friends and family, we stayed at the Apex Temple Court for our daughter's wedding (as a base not for the wedding). It was really excellent. Staff were friendly and helpful, bar service was great (although sometimes borderline, not enough staff). Did not manage to sample the breakfast on either of the mornings we could have had it, but friends and family all said it was brilliant.. Rooms were spacious, well maintained with good kit (to be expected I guess in a brand new hotel). In comparison to other hotels in the Area, it beats spots off them, and I'll be recommending it to my work colleagues who visit from overseas. The location is excellent (although too near where I work) if on a weekend you want an oasis of calm rather than West End hustle and bustle. Also great for touring City, St. Paul's etc.

Room Tip: Treat yourself to one of the top floor rooms with a balcony. Great views of the London Eye etc.

This hotel was lovely. Hidden away off the main road, but a real find. Its brand new, very clean and the staff on front desk and in the restaurant were great. The food for dinner & breakfast was amazing, really top quality. The guy who was working for the breakfast service was lovely, as was the lady who checked us in and kindly upgraded us for our anniversary. So big thanks to Dori Choi for doing this and for our lovely card and chocolates, it was a lovely touch. Very professional staff, overall we were so pleased with our stay, we wished we could have stayed longer and will definitely return. I will mention just 1 problem which was that on our check out day, housekeeping tried to get in to our room to clean it at 9am, which we weren't very impressed with, and they then tried again an hour later, which was a bit strange, as we were due to check out at 12 that day, so i'm not sure why they were so desperate to get in and clean, as we were still using the room?! Aside from this error, it was a fabulous stay. Would recommend highly.

Room Tip: Ask for an upgrade, especially if its a special ocassion. If you call before, they will make a note...

As a regular visitor to London, London hotels generally leave me cold. Staying around Fleet Street/St Paul's, the funky Grange trumps the tired Crown Plaza by some margin. The Apex is a step up from both. Delightfully hidden just off Fleet Street, this is a real gem of a hotel. It has the huge advantage of being brand spanking new and it benefits from wonderful design. I don't go in much for breakfast in these hotels but the rooms are fantastic. Unlike the Crown Plaza, you are not insulted by having to pay for Internet access. The rooms have nice clean lines, a cool couch and a great walk in shower.
