I decided to book this hotel as it was close to anything you want! The room was clean, the bath spot-on but the corridor was tiny. Overall I went there to relax, enjoy and it felt great! Would definitely recommend as long as you are not fussy!!! In the end a great value for the money!!!

First, the location is good. The rooms look recently renovated. The service is terrible. They ecpect to be paid whem you check in. There is no wifi inluded. Most other hotels provide free wifi. There is no breakfast included. When you ask hotel to fix something, they don't do it. Shower drain doese not drain properly, causung water to leak everywhere. Housekeep do a very poor work at cleaning room. They take towels and do not replace them. Do not stay here.

We chose this hotel due to its proximity to Hyde Park and the availability of a "quad room". The location is the only good thing about this hotel.
Overall, whilst I appreciate you get what you pay for and this is cheap option, we were very disappointed with the hotel. We arrived at 1:10 and were greated by the receptionist who looked totally bored as he told us we couldnt check in till 2pm. Fair enough so we asked to leave our bags - he did agree but seemed incredibly annoyed that he had to store them behind reception. 50minutes later we returned and went to our room, down the tiniest corridors only to open the door and be greated with stairs going up and stairs going down. Turns out the quad room is actually two tiny rooms on two floors. The downstairs room is essentially two beds with about 4 inches inbetween, and a small (although clean) bathroom. There are no bedside tables or infact any surfaces to store things, and with a bag at the end of each bed there is basically no room to move. The upstairs room is even smaller with the twin beds almost touching. There is a desk withe coffee machine and a wardrobe in the corridor but thats it. Both rooms have a small window looking over an external stairwell, but they dont open...and make the rooms feel like very small cabins, low ceilings, ceiling lights that dont work and a heating / cooling system that seemed totally uncontrollable. Added to the provision of one incredibly thin pillow and duvet no thicker than an inch per person it was
For one night we could cope, but i would not recommend this to either a family or groups who want to spend anymore than the night sleeping in the room. If anything this space should be used as a double room in one of the areas with a lounge/desk area in the other not trying to squash in 4 people.
On check out we once again asked to leave our bags and were not only charged £5 but received no help from the staff who basically gave us the key to the luggage store down a pokey corridor to put our bags in. When we returned and asked for a taxi were told "oh i've tried to book one abit ago and it took ages - go to the taxi rank at the hotel at the top of road" which when we got to the hotel it didnt actually exist so we had to wait and flag one down on the street.
All in all, unhelpful and unfriendly hotel that is basically trying to fit a bed in any tiny bit of space just to make money. I wouldnt recommend this hotel and wouldn't stay here again.

Room Tip: avoid the quad room.

Good location near Paddington station and Hyde Park. However I wouldn't stay here again. We had two single beds and the sheets were far too small and wouldn't stay tucked in. The airconditioning unit badly needed the filters cleaned as there was a bad smell upon operation which put us off using it. Curtains were badly designed and didn't block out light, and the room had a pokey feel that wasn't restful. However, bathroom was decent and the place was nice and clean.

Room Tip: rooms away from st are perfectly quiet

With a party of 6 family vacation to book, budget was everything so we went with it. After reading all of the reviews I was not looking forward to check in. Turns out NOT BAD AT ALL!!! It had been renovated and had a lovely lobby and rooms. We arrived several hours before check-in prepared to leave our bags in the check closet (which by the way is not even close to being a closet), but after a few minutes of us lingering and regrouping the lady at the front desk told us she had our rooms ready and we were able to get settled in. The rooms are small but pretty, clean, and comfortable. The location can’t be beat, great restaurants all around and very convenient to Hyde Park and public transportation.

Bonda cafe is a halal Malaysian restaurant just across the road. Paddington tube/bus station just a few minutes walk. Room is small but okay, clean and has a bidet. Water heater works well.

We have to pay 20pound for parking even it was on sunday. There is also a 5pound charge per bag if we want to leave at the hotel once checked out. Luckily our airport transfer guy came during check out to load the baggages in the car and pick us up later after last minute shopping.

THIS hotel was recently reno'ed. Very nice reception area, a storage locker for your luggage, which we took advantage of. Our room, though smaller, had nice air conditioning and was clean and tidy. The location was perfect, a short walk from Paddington Station and around the corner from HYDE PARK. Well kept property and helpful staff.

Room Tip: The bathroom was very small. If you are a larger person (i'm tall), I would let them know as I...
