We originaly booked other hotel, but were moved here due to overbooking. I didn't like the hotel much however the pub downstairs is really nice. Bartender is a nice guy and have good selection of beers. :)

This is a no fuss, basic pub/hotel strategically positioned for the O2arena or a visit to Greenwich village and museums. The bus stop is right outside and being on the south side of the O2, returning from the concert was so easy avoiding all the queues for the tube. Clean and newly redecorated, good TV and friendly staff. The pub is popular and lively. I hope your room has a window that closes better and a shower with hot water, otherwise a good night sleep.

Room Tip: Check the windows and the hot water and that room is not adjacent to the shared toilet,

I stayed here for two nights for the Muse gigs at the O2. It was perfect for my needs. The staff are very friendly, the room is clean with a comfy bed and good quality bedding. It has been freshly decorated and was warm and very handy for the O2, just a short bus ride away. The TV was great as well. Staff were very generous with tea/coffee etc.

The shared facilities did not pose a problem for me at all, bathroom was always free, shower was powerful and hot.

It isn't luxury but for decent cheap accommodation it is brilliant.

Do take toiletries with you as only soap is provided and maybe earplugs as the traffic on one side of the hotel is quite noisy!

This was so much better than I expected seems it has been recently refurbished. Altho the communal hallways are not the most modern the rooms are great! Good size for a stay and a nice ensuite bathroom. Large flat screen TV's and very comfy bed. Right next to a motorway so wouldnt recommed if you are not used to public transport noise. We got a taxi to the 02 areas which cost £6, and walked back taking around 20 mins. Great hotel would defently stay again

A great hotel. This was so much better than I expected (from the picture) being a typical Victorian Street Front Hotel. It had clearly been refurbished and a lot of money - I mean a lot - had been thrown at it. It has been beautifully appointed with a blue grey and off white livery throughout the hotel inside and out. Neither have they skimped on the 40" TV's. The beds we so comfy with soft duvets and pillows. Public transport is easy with bus and train connections. For this kind of hotel it gets 5 stars because you just couldn't do better with the building. It's also does what it says on the tin - cheap and cheerful with good transport connections and parking.

Room Tip: For a double take room 21.

We booked this for our visit to the o2 which was just a stones throw away and could see it from our window.
We got our room key and made the mistake of going to the wrong door which the key also opened but it was a single when we booked double which was lucky as we'd have made ourselves at home to probably find someone else entering our room and fortunate it was empty as we didn't barge in on someone else!
The bedding and towels were clean and fresh and bathroom clean. I did have a cold shower but suspect this was due to hot water in demand at the time.
Disappointment was how noisy it was due to traffic and sirens as its right ontop of a main road and fly over and curtains let in light so hardly slept and on leaving room to go down for breakfast there was no sign of any and no offer from manager either so at 8:30am presumed perhaps we were too late. We could have asked but chose to set off home and stop at a motorway services instead although felt a bit conned as we paid for it.

Well ... this hotel isn't nice, nor it's in a good location but it is very cheap. The room itself is absouletely ok, although it would have been good to have a few hangers in there for my clothes, ah well, not much of a problem either. The bathroom and the toilet is somewhat ugly and they really should do something about it.

Staff is friendly and helpfull. A good supermarket is just a few minutes (by foot) away.

If you don't mind shared bathroom and wc, this hotel should do for a few days. The area is a bit loud - but afterall its london and london usualy is loud. The hotel is close to a bus stop which brings you to the cutty sark DLR station in a few minutes, so connectivity is not an issue here.
