Having been at a concert at Royal Albert Hall we weren't sure we would find somewhere still open at 11pm on a Saturday night, so were surprised when we were welcomed in without hesitation! Having walked by the place the previous night and seen the queue outside the door, we knew it must be good - and it was. The service was pleasant and efficient, and the pizzas we had were good (nothing to write home about, but we were just happy to have a decent meal at a late hour!). The pasta dishes looked very good, and everything was reasonably priced. Recommended.

The food is always amazing here and the prices are reasonable about £11 for a pasta dish. There is always a queue outside so make sure you book. I have been here at various different times but the last time I came here was a Friday night. This was probably my least favourite time to come as the restaurant tries to become trendy with the music it plays. It sounds like a getting ready to go out playlist. This doesn’t fit in with the classic Italian decoration of this restaurant and seems mismatched and out of place. However, service and the food is always great so I would recommend no matter what.

We had a birthday dinner for four on a very busy Saturday. The table was near the door with a lot of traffic but the staff used a rope to minimise disruption. All our food was top quality and the staff were great with my wife’s birthday cake, from presentation to singing and boxing up afterwards! Da Mario’s made us feel special!

I've ordered the food from the menu (Moradella, Pappadelle Gameretti and Ricotta), with my finger pointing to each food when I ordered the food.
The starter (Moradella) came very late (almost 1 hour), and included a dish I didn't order (Gameroni Aglio Olio e Peperoncino).
The main course did not come for a long time, and I asked the waiters repeatedly and finally, it came after another hour.
What's more, the dessert (Ricotta) has never come.
And the waiter insisted that I need to pay for the dish I didn't order (Gameroni).
Overall, very very very poor service.
I'm not sure whether I'm Chinese, and they discriminated me.

For our last 3 visits to London for the Albert Hall we've made sure to visit Da Mario. We even squeezed in two meals there this weekend - one as a group of 4 and one as a couple.
It's a tight, busy restaurant but there is a good reason for that - the food is top tier fantastic.
The 'Rigatoni Da Mario' and 'Tortelloni Di Vitello' are our stand out favourites right now.
Great service and well priced, we always come away happy.
