Yes, the room was tiny. But, it was clean with a perfectly adequate bed, and it served its purpose for the weekend. Best of all, the price and location were great. Liverpool Street station is a stone's throw away, and the area is thriving with restaurants and pubs. Would recommend if you're looking for an inexpensive place to stay in the City.

It's been the fourth time at the Tune Hotel near Liverpool street. It's comfortable, well connected to the airport, nice room, clean and not very expensive. the checkin is after 3.00 pm, so pay attention to arrive after that time.

I often stay at Tune hotel as the location is simply wonderful. 3 min from Liverpool street, seconds away from Spitalfield market and commercial street. Shoreditch is 5 min away with all its bars and restaurants. Room size vary greatly (i've stayed in all the different categories), the best one was definitely the twin room (room 310), as it's larger than the double rooms. Staff is always nice and friendly. Rooms are small and the hotel has limited services, there is no lobby either.Don't book at Tune hotel Liverpool street if you're looking for a romantic place to stay, but for everything else, I would definitely recommend it as it is very reasonably priced. Their wifi is absolutely terrible, so don't bother to buy the internet package but rather buy a local sim card.

Never again. I stayed on the 4th floor of the hotel in a window less room, in a cubby hole (6ft by 13ft) which resembled more of a boxed in coffin than anything else. I had mistakenly booked this for 100 pounds for two nights, and will never stay here again. To add insult, you have to pay for everything ie 2pounds each for a hair dryer and towel. Wifi and TV were also extras. In this day and age when wifi is free in most hotels, this seemed odd that you had to pay for such a basic service. When you compare that with Ibis Budget which you can also book in advance for about 50pounds, where you get towels, free wifi and TV, I would definitely choose that. My partner and I were traumatized by the whole experience, whereby we just avoided going back to the hotel until the last moment, as you could do nothing in there except sleep. I actually could not sleep well the first night, at all due to feeling of claustrophobia (which indeed I do not suffer from at all, but nonetheless felt this way). The toilet shower was also a joke, and I am sure the CEOs of AA and TH would not be able to fit into them.

- Is very busy before 9am as its bang in the Financial district.
- Located above the subway, so could hear trains until 12 midnight, and first thing at 5am.
- If you must, try to book the window rooms
- Thin pillows, had to request for another one (which thankfully was free!)
- Shower was located within a small cubby hole with a shower curtain and not a glass door as per pictures. As it was under a stairway, the space was tiny, and the shower curtain was long and kept getting stuck in the drainage hole.
Understand that its budget and all, and intended to try out for the experience and value for money. But if you end up feeling uncomfortable, then I will surely avoid Tune Hotels in Europe, and will choose other brands in the future.

We offer competitive rates, compared to other hotels in the area, with an add-on system that allows guests to design their own stay and save on unrequired facilities. We operate a unique limited concept in the hotel industry and all the charges are clearly stated on our website. Our rooms without window give guests the additional option to save on the room rate, but we realise that they do not suit everybody. We have plenty of rooms with window available. We are sorry to hear that you had a disappointing stay due to the room size. Our rooms without window vary in size between 9-11 square meters. We allocate the rooms on the day of the arrival depending which rooms are empty. Please notify us in advance of your next stay dates and we will endeavour to allocate you one of the bigger rooms. I am pleased that we impressed you with our power shower and comfy beds.

I stayed at Tune hotel in October 2013 for three nights. Before going I was afraid the room (twin room with window) was too small but it wasn't, the size was perfect for our needs and the staff was really kind with us even though our English wasn't perfect. I suggest this hotel for tourists of all age. If I go there again in the future, i'll certenly stay at Tune!

The hotel was nice, Was just across from where i was working so decided to check it out. Very basic amenities but it was clean and with just enough room to drop my bags and go to sleep.

I was in room 104 and my only concern is that you cannot sleep very well during the day in these rooms as there is likely a tube line running underneath the building as the whole room shakes every few moments. I couldn't hear it anywhere else in the building and it's far from the main road so it really confused me.

Go for the pack with the internet and towels when booking direct, It's a lifesaver.

Room Tip: Couples should try for bigger rooms, I barely fitted on the bed on my own but i am a big guy.

I stayed at the Tune hotel Liverpool Street London for two nights in November 2013.
The reception staff were polite and helpful on arrival and throughout the stay. The rooms are on the small side, however from researching before hand I knew what to expect and for the price paid this was not an issue.
The room is well equipped to hang all your clothes and plenty of storage under the bed for suitcases and bags etc. upon arrival the room was spotless with no issues. The only comment I would make which was negative I decided to opt for the room without a window to lower the cost if the stay. This meant we were based in basement part of the hotel and you could hear the trains of the tube every time they passed. I'll be honest we didn't spend that much time in the room so this didn't effect us that much.
Overall this was a great hotel and I'm already arranging another trip back to london next year and will book this hotel again.
