“Super relaxing stay!”
Reviewed August 7, 2012

I absolutely loved my stay at staybridge. The hotel is very new and clean and is very spacious. The is located in next/in to the huge westfield shopping center. If you are a shopaholic like you will love the location of this hotel! The is located right next to the olympic stadium and you have a great view of it in the lounge/ breakfast area. Theres even a balcony area for breakfast outside and its great for taking pictures of the scenic view. The breakfast was great. It was selfserved and had nice eggs, bacon, fresh fruit, yogurt, coffee, tea, juices and a assortment of pasteries such as cakes and crossiants. The atmostsphere is just amazing the rooms had kitchen amenties and a great bathroom with huge bottles of free toiletries. The hotel had free wifi and very close to the train station which is good. The walls are soundproof and the staff was so nice and friendly. One of the best stays I had in years. Would totally recommend this hotel!!

The hotel is very new, clean and perfectly located next to a large shopping center and Olympic stadium.
My suite was large and comfortable with a view over Olympic stadium itself! Fully equipped kitchen had all needed amenities.
As I travelled with children they have put a baby cot and a baby chair to my suite, that was really nice. All staff members were nice and welcoming.
The hotel does not have its own restaurant but it vever was a problem: there are plenty of restaurants in Westfield next door.
So generally we were really happy with the hotel and would recommend staying there.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel at the beginning of July for 2 nights as I was attending an Olympics training event at the Olympic Park.

First of all the location of this hotel is absolutely fantastic. It's literally 2 minutes walk from stratford station. Some reviews on here spoke of the hotel being hard to find. It's actually really easy. Coming out of stratford station you take the lifts or escalators outside up to the 1st floor and instead of entering Westfield you walk to the left along the outside part of the centre called "The Street". The hotel is on the left next to the Prada store.

The reception, pantry and breakfast area is on the 12th floor giving fabulous views over the Olympic park with an outside terrace with a bbq.

The welcome from the reception staff was fantastic and really friendly. All of the staff I encountered during my stay couldn't do enough for you.

The room itself is absolutely fantastic with a huge bed and a fully equipped kitchen which is very useful as Waitrose supermarket is nearby in Westfield so makes it very convenient to cook your own food. Alternatively, if you don't want to cook there is a huge range of different restaurants in Westfield and also in the adjoining Holiday Inn. The room and bathroom were spotless and still had that "new building" smell. The shower was huge and very powerful.

The room also had a large TV with digital channels and free wi-fi is available. For an extra charge you can upgrade to using the Apple TV and to a faster wi-fi connection.

The breakfast is included in the room price and was very nice. It's a buffet in a room that is like your own kitchen from home. There was a large fridge with different juices that you can pour yourself and they had loads of different spreds in the jars that you can have with your toast. There was also a decent selection of hot items as well.

Overall I couldn't recommend this hotel more. I had a fantastic stay and wished it could have been for longer. All the staff were great and the hotel truly feels like a home from home!

Room Tip: Ask for a room with a view of the Olympic Park.

Great Hotel, exceptionally helpful and well trained staff at the front desk and management very friendly. Great for familys but no 2 bedrooms suite so needed 2 rooms nect to each other. No room servies over weekend so get new towels on Firday (nice conservation measure I guess). Need a printer for guest to potentially use but front desk did it for us and more brochures on sites and things to do

Wide variety of resturants downstairs, and one in the Holiday Inn section of th hotel although we did not try it alos plenty of fast food type in the Mall next door. Can even buy food at M & S/grocery stores in the Mall and cook in your room if deisred. Free Breakfast is standard and nothing exceptional but english style buffet of eggs/beans/ceraleas etc. - good coffee (24 hrs) and juice. Rooms new and well laid out although could have more or brighter lighting. Free laundry again nice svaings and less packing for longer stay!!!

Gym not set up yet but able to use the Holiday Inn gym as well - never stayed in a dual hotel same building but 2 elevators one for stabrigand one for Holiday Inn?

Proximity to the Westfiled Mall is a good except you should expect the credit card will eventually melt for so many purchases. It is a little outside of City center but commute via Undergorund is 20 minutes and at times a little crowded,

Room Tip: AC seemed to readjsut the temperature on its own during the middle of the night to a higher temp but...

My daughter and I stayed here for one night only but we would have happily stayed a month. Firstly we travel within the USA a grewat deal so have got used to the chasm that exists between customer service in America and the UK. At the Staybridge in London it was akinb to being in the Ritz-Carlton in New York.
The hotel itself is part of the Westfield Mall and is adjoining Olympic Park. About a 3 minute walk from the tube. I booked the night using loyalty points so had paid nothing but nevertheless was upgraded to a one bedroom suite. Timothy on reception was awesome; he could not have been friendlier or more accommodating. Debbie was the same- she took my daughter off to take pictures of the Olymopic stadium and made us feel so at home.
The suite was lovely, if you were there for an extended trip it had everything you needed including a fridge, hob and microwave. Our only gripe was the bed was a little firm but we like squishy!
Due to the upcoming Games the Staybridge gym was not in use but I was able to use the Holiday Inn gym which is attached.
The evening reception, managed again by Debbie was by far the best complimentary reception we have had. It puts the Embassy Suites and Drury Inn ones to shame.
The breakfast too was fine tho scaled down a little due to a piower cut. Ot still had everything we wanted (except bananas!) and the staff managed providing a breakfast service on an emergency generaor with aplomb.
In sum I would stay here again in a heartbeat and will definitely switch my 'Suite hotel' allegiance from Embassy Suites.

Room Tip: Had an Olympic view from Suite 928. No noise at all even though they are still building the faciliti...

The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. The hotel itself is brand new and so very modern, both in the bedrooms and around the rest of the hotel.

It's a stone's throw away from the underground station, where you can get the central line that cuts across the centre of london and also connects to most other tube lines - so getting across the city is very efficient from the hotel. The hotel is surrounded by fantastic restaurants in the mall, which range from very nice to simple quick meals. Equally, the restaurant in the hotel boasts many delicious, inventive dishes coming out of the kitchen led by an attentive head chef.

The view goes without saying, it's exciting right now because of all of the Olympic buzz, but even without that, from the hotel you can see all of London's biggest landmarks, the eye, the girkin, the new gondola, the 02 arena canary wharf.

Overall the hotel is very cozy, and well equipped to suit anybody's needs, whether travelling as a family, in a couple, with friends or solo.

Thank you for taking the time to review our hotel. The team and I are obviously delighted to read that you enjoyed your 'Staybridge Experience'. As a new hotel and a new brand in London, we take our guests feedback extremely seriously.

I have also passed your comments onto the Head Chef of the Holiday Inn Stratford City. Whilst Staybridge as a brand does not actually have a restaurant, the Holiday Inn Restaurant (in the same building) does indeed offer exceptional, reasonably priced menu and their Head Chef is absolutely one of the friendliest chefs we know!

Once again, thank you for your comments and we all look forward to welcoming you back 'home' in the very near future.

Sincerely,

Wayne Androliakos
