“Cute and homey”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 23, 2013

I stayed here with a friend for 2 nights.
It was a fantastic location, close to bayswater station and the main road with restaurants and shops.

The room was cute. It had 2 single beds and was just big enough for both of us. The bathroom was nice but small. We were in a basement room but we had a window that opened and gave an air to the room and let in natural light.

Staff were friendly and helpful. No street noise obviously.

I would stay here again.

The hotel was renovated and rooms are very clean, I even checked under bed. Bathroom is small but also very clean. Leonor at the front desk was very friendly and spoke Portuguese when she realized that we were Brazilian. The hotel is located in kesington gardens, a posh place in London. Lots of restaurants in the area and a nice mall in the corner called whiteleys where you can find department stores like Marks&Spencer.
It's 4 from Bayswater station (circle line) and 6 minutes from Queensway Station (Central Line). If you are coming from the airport by tube, I recommend the Queensway Station since it has a lift.

The hotel is good for a small stay like a week and only if you don't have more than 1 bag per person in a double room. It's really small and you are informed at the checkin. I didn't care since I already knew it, but don't go unwarned. They are REALLY small.

I loved the pub on corner with Queensway "Prince Albert" because it has live music on Thursday, Saturday and Sunday.
You also have 2 makers nearby, Tesco and Sainsbury.

Always be careful with exchange bureaus inside shops they may trade fake notes between real ones, you can change in Mark&Spencer for a reasonable rate.

Nicely renovated hotel on Kensington Gardens Square situated a short walk from Bayswater underground station and the lively Queensway. Public areas and room are stylish, modern and simple. Room was small and might be claustrophobic if staying for more than a couple of nights but for an overnight stay it was fine. Bathroom was again compact but the heated floor was a little bonus . It delivered the prerequisite of a hotel room - a good nights sleep. Room at the back was quiet and the bed comfortable. Wifi free and effective.

Staff were very friendly and efficient. Check in and out was simple and straightforward.

All this for £140 which for London is reasonable value.

Its very Ikea but just what I like when I'm working wifi available and its clean and the foods great, room service is prompt and not too costly. Its ideal for the attractions. They arranged me a taxi at the last minute and helped me with directions. I need some bits from a chemist but they had them there so I didn't have to go top class service

I stayed here for a week right around the Notting Hill Carnival, and it was just a joy to come back to a nice, clean, air-conditioned room after a long, hot day. Beds were comfy, staff were friendly and helpful, and the room was not expensive considering the great location. I only wish I had stayed in a room on one of the upper floors - I was in the basement and therefore had no real window. Also, you can hear everything going on in the hallway outside your room, but if you have earplugs, you'll be fine :)

Excellent and centrally located hotel. Went to London and all the sites and this hotel was located in a place that allowed easy access to everything. Need 200 characters so I am just rambling. Stay clear of the subways doors and do not get separated

Excellent location and very helpful staff. The place was nicely furnished and clean. I did have a slight issue getting hold of an iron in the morning but it was dealt with eventually. The breakfast was a bit limited and completely self-service but the food was of a reasonable standard. Would stay here again if I needed to be in this part of London. This was a work trip so I usually stay in a hotel nearer the financial district.
