My boyfriend and I stayed here early February as we were going to Harry Potter studios in Watford on the Saturday. The location was EXCELLENT, it is literally over the road from King's Cross station, and about a 10ish minute walk to Euston Station (where we got the train to Watford). The room is quite small but absolutely fine. We stayed for two nights and when we got back on the Saturday it had been cleaned etc. Shower nice and hot, tea and coffee making facilities. Breakfast was nice too and just what we needed, but there's obviously places like Costa nearby and Burger King if you wanted anything else. Enjoy!

Room Tip: There's no lift so if you struggle with stairs probably ask for a lower room. We were the furthest away you could be and managed fine though.

We stayed at the central hotel for 1 night everything perfect room excellent and the staff were very helpful. Breakfast although not massive was just enough to keep you going till lunchtime. The location of the hotel was amazing straight off the train at kings cross cross the road and you are there. Would definitely return to this hotel.

Room Tip: Excellent base for touring London

This small B&B Hotel is in an excellent position close to many facilities and rail connections including the Euro Star. Defiantly a one night only location but with welcoming reception / kitchen / cleaning staff and quite good breakfasts.
Although no lift or air com and subject to some degree of street noise - it is upgrading and getting better. The decor and carpets still need some thought and I would suggest you check that you actually do have a bed! Mine was not in the room when I arrived early evening. Pres da ond un noson yn unig.

Having booked a superior room, we arrived at The Central to meet a very stressed receptionist. She speedily took our payment and gave us the keys to a very small room with 3 beds, no room to walk and a bathroom in a cupboard. The room stenched of bleach and the bathroom was flooded. Went back to reception and asked what happened to our Superior room. She then informed us that the toilet was broken in the room we had originally booked. I explained that we weren't happy with this room and she was very rude and beligerant. However not sure if we had a good night sleep due to the bed or the bleach fumes. Breakfast and device was lovely. However we will not be staying there again due to the lack of courtesy from the receptionist and rooms small and smelly.

The Central is a small hotel a very short stroll from King Cross station, The reception is clean and pleasant and has recently been refurbished. I believe the whole hotels is due to be completed soon as walls were primed to be painted, new doors had been installed too. The carpets on the stairs were quite grubby but I assume they will be changed soon.
The room was neat, very small with a desk and wardrobe TV and sink unit. Unfortunately I reserved a room with a shared bathroom which was located right outside the room, it was my fault when I booked it. Breakfast was adequate with juice, cold meat, cheese and cereals as well as an English breakfast. The room was very warm and I needed to open the windows, being on the street side meant that there was a certain amount of noise. I would stay again if the price was right and for its location.
