If, like me, you search for hours, read all reviews, trying to find perfect hotel, price, location etc, then look no further! This hotel was great on all fronts! Ideal location - 5 mins from tube; quiet location; lots of shops, restaurants near by; rooms spacious, clean and comfortable; ideal for a family of 4. All beds comfy - no lumpy sofa beds! The staff were all so friendly and helpful - well done Premier Inn for getting it right!

Just back from two night stay here and thought it was fabulous. Great location, very clean and bright, spacious rooms for London and the staff couldn't have been more helpful. We had a few minor issues that were resolved quickly and professionally and were given free breakfasts to make up for any inconvenience. We have found our new base for our London trips.

Booked this Hotel via the website for a one night stay 15/02/2013 , Certainly could not fault the location that we needed, the staff on duty when we checked in were super, very knowledgable and explained all we needed to know.
Room was faultless and extremely clean and very well presented.
Certainly recomended to anyone.

Always have good experiences of Premier Inn, and this hotel did not disappoint. Brilliant location close to Angel tube, but on a very quiet street. Great area with lots of shops, bars and restaurants. Stayed for four nights in a family room, plenty big enough for two adults and two 12 year olds; even better that both kids had proper beds. Lovely clean room and bathroom, well-equipped with TV, plenty of hot water, great shower etc. Hair-dryer decent enough, even for my long hair. Nice outlook onto lovely quiet, pretty street. Nowhere to plug in electric shaver/toothbrush only negative. We found the staff incredibly friendly and they made us feel very much at home. We ate in the restaurant three times as we found it good value: three courses plus glass of wine or pint of lager, plus free breakfast all for £23.99. With breakfast priced at £8.95, and kids getting a free breakfast with every adult one purchased, this made sense. The food was lovely and the restaurant really nice to eat in as decor was really smart. Breakfast was good, although the toaster was broken for the whole of our stay; however, the staff prepared toast in the kitchen. The hot plate was not working until the last morning of our stay, when you could help yourself; however, staff took order for cooked breakfast quickly and food was served promptly, so really not an issue. We will definitely stay here again: it was a lovely place to return to after a day's sightseeing in a very cold and wet London!

Room Tip: Ask for one looking onto the street - ir the same side as the entrance.

My partner and I stayed here for a weekend during which we took in a theatre trip in the West End. We have stayed in Premier Inns a few times for similar visits to London and knew what to expect. The hotel was easy to locate and near to many local amenities such as shops, restaurants and a Vue cinema. Upon arrival we checked in with no hassle and were booked in within 5 minutes. Staff were friendly and went through thee usual 'Good Night Guarantee. The room on the third floor was clean, airy and comfortable enough for our needs. The view from our room on the third floor was not particularly attractive - we could see the rear of adjacent properties and air conditioning vents etc but this was not a significant problem to us. The window gave plenty of natural light and we had no complaints. The bathroom was clean and of a good size for 2 people. Whilst we did not see the cleaning staff, our room was cleaned appropriately and to a good standard and the tea and coffee sachets were topped up but I have to say I felt that we should have been given more than the one tea bag and 2 milk pots for a room with two guests. Reception would top up if asked however. Towels were changed if left on the floor and this was done efficiently. The bed was made once during our stay and was perhaps not made as neatly as other hotels in which we had stayed previously but nonetheless was satisfactory. We did not use the restaurant, bar or room service during our stay so cannot comment. One downside was the air conditioning which was very cold regardless of temperature setting. Turning this off however remedied the issue and we were very comfortable and able to sleep satisfactorily. The television had many channels to watch if you wanted to do so. My partner used the hair dryer in the room on a couple of occasions and this worked satisfactorily also. I would recommend this hotel for a London stay as it it close to the angel tube station which makes getting around very straightforward. The local area has many bars and restaurants as well as an O2 academy venue and cinema so there is plenty to do if you do not wish to go further afield. On checkout staff were polite, efficient and asked of we needed any further assistance with our onward journey. I would recommend staying here and will consider it for future London trips.

I am staying in this hotel for the weekend. Location great, accommodation good but i couldnt recommend the restaurant. I booked breakfast for myself and my 2 kids. went down for breakfast at 9am, still not served by 10.40, despite giving our order twice. The excuse that they were busy doesnt explain why people who came in after us had been served, eaten and left and we still had no food.

When we complained we were offered a refund, but this still doesnt feed my kids! 2 hours after going for breakfast i am back in my room with 2 hungry children. Now have to go and look for somewhere that still serves breakfast at this time. We have now also missed the excursion we had planned, which puts a damper on the whole half term break.

Not good enough!

I stayed here for work again, as I had a conference in the Islington Business Design Centre for which this hotel is the perfect location. Check-in is simple. Room was pleasant, comfortable, functional, and ideal for a one-night stay. I slept very well. Breakfast was a good quality. No complaints at all. One thing to add is that the room was £143 for the night including breakfast. Probably that's due to the conference taking place in the Design Centre. However, it's still a lot of money for a hotel which has no added facilities such as a gym etc. Therefore, next time, if the price is equally high as this time, then I would consider staying somewhere else for the same money where I could use more facilities such as a gym.
