Lovely theatre. The picture you see here is rather surprising, it doesn't look so shabby! In fact, it gives the feeling that it's been recently refurbished, it's a beautiful theatre in gold, baby blue, and cream. The seats were matching blue, quite comfortable, not one of those deflated cushion seats. Compared to many theatres I've been in London, the seatings are nicely staggered so no one's head was in the way (unless you are particularly tall) - important as the stall prices were dear (£80+). The rows are quite narrow though so if you're in the middle, arrive at least 15min early.
In regards to the play itself, beautiful production, excellent casting, great story telling. Again, thought the tickets were very pricey (when it was on Donmar, it was probably heck of a lot cheaper) but it was worth it if you want to treat yourself. Donmar, btw, is right behind this theatre, worth signing up to see what's coming on.
