We went for lunch as a group of five. We ordered a main dish each but everything arrived at the table at different times so we could not eat together. The wrong fish was served to one member of the party so another wait ensued while the correct one was cooked. My pasta dish was under cooked and far too salty. The service is friendly but frankly lax. In central London competition is fierce, there are better places to eat than this. The smell of smoke from the outside seating was strong as the front was open.

First visit this year since the start of the good weather and we found a steep increase in prices
and decrease in competence of staff with respect to last year
A mediocre Prosecco at £29.00 topped with a sevice charge of £4.00 for bringing it from the bar to our table......

We were running short of time and needed to eat before heading to the train station. We stumbled across fornata and were very impressed. Portions are not huge but the food is very tasty and service was excellent. One of our party is allergic to garlic, unhelpful in an italian but they went the extra mile to accomodate us

A great little place, welcoming and bright frontage nicely furnished, friendly staff (thank you Fanny) good tasty food and fair prices for London. the wine is a bit expensive, £23 for a bottle of chi chi but a good flavour with nice after taste. will re-visit when in town again.
