First visit this year since the start of the good weather and we found a steep increase in prices
and decrease in competence of staff with respect to last year
A mediocre Prosecco at £29.00 topped with a sevice charge of £4.00 for bringing it from the bar to our table......

We were running short of time and needed to eat before heading to the train station. We stumbled across fornata and were very impressed. Portions are not huge but the food is very tasty and service was excellent. One of our party is allergic to garlic, unhelpful in an italian but they went the extra mile to accomodate us

A great little place, welcoming and bright frontage nicely furnished, friendly staff (thank you Fanny) good tasty food and fair prices for London. the wine is a bit expensive, £23 for a bottle of chi chi but a good flavour with nice after taste. will re-visit when in town again.

Some friends had recommended this place to me as a simple Italian restaurant in the heart of London off Carnaby street so I went to try it out on Saturday night. I was not at all disappointed. The restaurant has two floors: on the top floor is very cosy and original to its Italian origin, but if you're looking for a more quiet and calm place you can always have lunch or dinner downstairs which is more intimate.
Now about the food, it is simply proper Italian cuisine, not just a pizza and pasta place, which are also amazing but you have a wide variety of different dishes which are to die for. The service are very kind and polite and are always at your service. If you like proper Italian food and you're in London, it is must!!!!

Came across this restaurant on a Saturday night while out with 2 girlfriends, place was very busy so thought must be good, how wrong! Wonder how many people come back here would be interesting to know!! Ordered a meatball calzone and oh my! Was like a small sausage roll that had 3 meatballs in! Dreadful! Felt just got ripped off because of we're the place is situated, I live in London and would never come back...then the cheese board was full of triangle shaped parnasen cheese!! That was it! Sent it back as was awful! I am usually not a complainer but felt I had to write this as so bad! Have to say staff were very nice but we had to go find a nice cake shop afterwards as we were still hungry!
