My partner and I visited this restaurant with the 4 course lobster wowcher deal twice. Initially a few months ago we attended without complaint. Unfortunately our second visit was a different matter. The dim sum first course had halved in size, the WHOLE lobster noodles had been replaced by a QUARTER duck, the amount of beef and choi sum also appeared to have halved in the black bean main, the dessert was unchanged. Having the opportunity to compare both visits I had some misgivings as to how a restaurant could claim to have supposed supply chain issues for lobster whilst still offering it on their front window AND replacing it with an item that is clearly worth significantly less than the item it was meant to be equivalent to. I was about to accept these facts as a business making a relatively amoral cost-saving decision and think no more of it, however on nearing the exit, the manager then presented us with a bill for £2.60 and on saying we were not asked to pay gratuity on the last occasion (already annoyed about the aforementioned) he suggested in that instance we should pay double. I did leave what change I hadnd left though do wonder if that small change was really worth the fact that I will definitely never return to this restaurant again.
