“Acrobatic Bathroom....”
Reviewed November 4, 2013

This hotel is in a very nice suburb of London. We stayed here for 3 nights and it was pretty good. The breakfast was pretty good for the cost. If you are staying in London, you should try and use the tube - it is cheap and very VERY easy to use (this hotel is right near Earls Court Tube). The staff are friendly and we were given the larger of the rooms, this was sill a very small room, the bathroom requires some acrobatics to be done in order to get undressed and have a shower and then get dressed again... It is a pretty small space... Other than that, the room is clean, and the bed is comfortable. We would stay here again, as the area is fantastic and there are lots of pubs and bars to eat at and it is a beautiful area to walk around during the day.

Dear Dean E,

Thank you for taking the time to post your review. We are grateful for your positive comments regarding our location and friendliness of staff.

Our rooms vary in size from small doubles to king executive. The small doubles are indeed compact, however our guests prefer them as they are value for money. For future stays my personal recommendation would be to book one of our executive rooms as they are very spacious.

We look forward to welcoming you back in the near future.

Kindest regards,

Georgiana Pusnava

Sorry but I can't recommend this hotel for several reasons:
Expensive.
Cramped double room - no room to move. If you had large suitcases not sure where you'd put them!
Noisy - double glazing didn't fit properly and we heard all the traffic from the busy Cromwell road.
Room baking + stuffy - air con / heating kept clicking on and off in the night - and woke us both up countless times.
Staff indifferent.
We didn't book breakfast - seemed very expensive for what it was.
There's a few pluses:
Location - just oppo tube, waitrose, cafes, museums a short walk.
Very clean room + bathroom and has tea / coffee / kettle

Thank you for your feedback.

I am delighted to see that you found our location ideal.

When it comes to the room size, some of our rooms are indeed very compact. We do, however, have a range of room types from small doubles to king executive. My suggestion for future stays would be to book one of our executive rooms as they are very spacious and accommodate a king size bed.

Your comments regarding our staff come as a surprise since most of our guests compliment us on our friendliness and helpfulness.
We provide two types of breakfast buffet: continental for £7.75 and Full English for £11.75. Alternatively our guests can reserve it at a special price of £10.00 at the time when they are making the booking.
We pride ourselves on our high standards of service and I do hope you will not judge us solely on this experience.
We look forward to welcoming you back.

Kindest regards,
Raquel Nogueira

I booked this hotel due to previous experience in staying at Mercure Hotels. I found the staff very pleasant and helpful from the moment I checked in until I left, The Hotel was clean although some areas of the hotel were tired and needed some fresh decoration. The breakfast was good with plenty of choice. The Room was clean and had all the amenities you would expect. The only complaint was the noise level from other rooms and corridor was audible in the room, guess needs more sound proofing. I would stay at this Hotel again.

The best thing about this hotel is that it's ideally located and a couple minutes walk to 2 different tube stations. We booked a standard double room and it was really small. Not much room to walk around in the room. For the price we paid I would have wanted a bigger room.
