Very nice property in the heart of London and right outside the St James' Park tube station. I arrived into London on a red eye and was hoping I could check in early even though it is the peak season thanks to Wimbledon. A room wasn't readily available but the front desk guy (I am so sorry I forgot his name, he was phenomenal!) got me comfortable in the lobby lounge while he asked Housekeeping to get a room ready. Just over an hour later, the room was ready and it was a nice upgrade - decent sized room with a large bathroom stocked with Molton Brown toiletries. The room had no view (it faced the inside courtyard) but with grey skies, it didn't matter much.

Wifi access was free with pretty good speed. Bed was very comfortable and the temperature control for the room actually worked. Like any other high end property, food isn't cheap but there is a Starbucks, Costas and Pret-a-Manger within 100' of the hotel. Please do note that all of them close by 7:30pm weekdays. There is a convenience store nearby (just past the entrance to the station off Petite France) that stays open later and has almost everything at reasonable prices.

I will be back for a longer stay next time.

We stayed here for 3 nights. As an Ambassador member, we were upgraded and received the amenity. Loved the location, hotel is relatively new and well-appointed. Great breakfast. The fitness centre was underwhelming. Thanks to the concierge who was most helpful.

I've traveled to London on vacation for nearly 30 years, and my trip this past May was the first time that I had stayed in Westminster. The area isn't very active at night, especially on the weekends, but during the week, there are food venues aplenty outside of the hotel. The hotel's location is very close to the St. James Park Tube, and not a far walk to the Westminster tube stop as well.
The room that we had was oddly laid out - in order to accommodate a larger bath (with separate shower, tub, and separate toilet enclosure), the architect/designer shaved a foot or two off the size of the bedroom, which made it rather cramped. Beyond that, the room was quite comfortable, with a good amount of hanging space in the closet, a fair amount of shelving (drawers seem to be out of fashion in modern hotel design), a very comfortable bed, and good climate control.
The location was, as we discovered over the five nights of our stay, closer to central London than we had imagined, and gave us the opportunity to discover the charms of St. James Park. A stroll from Piccadilly, through St. James, and by the Palace of St. James, then through the park turned out to be only a 20-25 walk at a leisurely pace - a most pleasant early evening activity.

We stayed two nights at this hotel recently. After coming from the Bucharest InterContinental which was outstanding, this hotel didn't compare. The room was so small, and being an Ambassador member doesn't seem to count. We asked why there wasn't a bowl of fruit, and she said she would get it sent up, it didn't arrive that day. The gym was tiny and house keeping quiet slack compared with other InterContinental Hotels we have stayed in.
There were lots of positives though , comfy bed, very modern room, great location , really nice bathroom and when we had a fire alarm and all had to evacuate the hotel , they gave us breakfast which was an excellent touch by Management !

This brand new property that I stumbled upon through Jetsetter "Mystery Hotel" was a very clean, efficient & welcoming hotel! The US friendly outlets, USB charging ports, TV, mini-bar and housekeeping were all fantastic for the price!
I was pleasantly surprised!

Room Tip: My room was high up which I assume was a good thing because it is in a very touristy part of town!

We stayed at the InterContinental London Westminster for 5 nights. The location of the hotel was perfect. We walked to the London Eye, Big Ben and Westminster Abbey. It was also a very short walk to Buckingham Palace. The beds were very comfortable. The A/C worked very well. The bathroom was clean and spacious. I did not even see one stray hair anywhere which was a welcome relief. I hope to stay again at this hotel.
