We stayed for 4 nights and couldn't find fault with anything. The fresh smell of cleanliness in the room hits you when you walk through the door. Hairdryers and irons etc are on request. Very clean and perfect for your base for exploring London. Choice of 2 tube stations approx 200 mtrs away. Staff very friendly and helpful. We will definitely return to this hotel. Thank you. This hotel was tucked down a side street in the City area of London. A quirky location and ideal for those who prefer a quieter location of an evening. There is a great restaurant next door called the Dom, which quite ofter have special offers on. Nearest tube station only a few minutes walk away with easy access to all the major stops in London.
Staff were a little of the unhelpful side, however this is a Travelodge and you pay for what you get! Rooms were clean, comfortable and with adequate amenities for just a coupdl eof nights stay, after all we didn't go to London for the room.
The only nag that we really have is the building work (nothing to do with the hotel) that commenced at 5am, I was not impressed. As this was otuside the hotels control little could be done, however a warning from a member of staff upon check in would have been good.

I come quite often to London and I always struggle to find a hotel. My feeling is that Hotels in London are expensive and not very good. I strongly recommend Travelodge London Bank. The location is amazing! The rooms are clean confortable and quite. The service is really good.

The bed was comfortable, it was clean, the bathroom was tiny and the shower and sink had issues that need addressing... a curtain that didn't hang 2 inches from the bottom of the shower stall that didn't flood the bathroom if it was moved just a tiny amount would have been great and a sink that didn't shoot water up and over the sides if the tap was turned on just a little bit too high would have been useful too.

The location was close to a tube and it was quiet as it was a weekend. There is a Boots and a Sainsbury's local if you turn left out of the hotel which was useful.

On the whole it was nothing to rave but we had a comfortable couple of nights sleep which for the price was OK.

Discovered this hotel a few years ago, hidden down a cobbled side road in the City. Quiet, clean, comfortable with friendly and efficient staff, close to the commercial hubbub. Situated close to Bank, Monument and Cannon Street Stations with bus routes nearby and a short walk to Tower Pier to pick up a Thames Clipper. No breakfast, apart from breakfast box but adjacent to shops, bars and restaurants. Third visit and will not be the last.
