We were struggling to find a decent place for lunch close to the Neals Yard shopping area and stumbled across The 10 Cases. Good menu, on the pricey side for lunch, but given the quality of the food it was in fact good value. Cover charge of £1.50 each covers unlimited delicious baguette bread and French butter as well as sparkling and still water. As it is just off the main drag you will not be overwhelmed by hoardes of shoppers and tourists. Service was friendly and efficient. Food fantastic, they can even cook a proper rare steak!

Briefly - we came only for drinks. The wine was great. The person who wasn't drinking was told if they didn't want wine the only option was (filtered tap) water, so good luck if you're driving or don't fancy drinking! Extraordinary not to have any non alcoholic drinks even if it is a wine bar.

The waiter who took our order was unbelievably rude to the non drinker and then proceeded throughout to come over and reach across us for items on shelves above our heads, without any kind of warning or apology. He did this to other customers too.

The wine might be good, but the lack of alternative seems petty and pretentious, and the service is odd to say the least....

Stumbled across this lovely place when out in Covent Garden, luckily they had a table. The concept, food and wine were all brilliant. It wasn't a cheap meal, but was thoroughly worth it. Will be back!

To wine and dine amid the beautiful ambience that is The 10 Cases is without peer. On Tuesday this week, I entertained an old friend over from Guernsey for lunch. He's difficult to please but he was ecstatic about everything that is the Ten Cases, - the food, the wine but above all the magnificently empathetic service.

The menus are displayed on boards around the room, because the restaurant is small and crowded this makes seeing all of the boards a little difficult and I wonder how difficult it can be to get 20 menus printed each day with modern technology! The selection of food is limited but varied. We both chose steak and it was excellent, a butter knife would have been sufficient to cut it.
Will definitely go again and pleased to recommend the restaurant but customers should not wish for a quiet leisurely dinner, 3 courses can be served in 1 hour.
