Small, and tight, awesome friendly service. We enjoyed a great bottle, and fantastic cheese, steak and salad. Close to our hotel, it was great to get a fabulous dinner close by since we covered a lot of the city during the day on foot, including all five floors of Harrods.

Wonderful wine idea complemented by good food and exemplary service (they even knew my name as I walked through the door!). Didn't catch the name of our waitress but she had been there from the start and was delightfully enthusiastic and well informed. Am going again tonight with a group of friends, and can count on the fingers of one hand the number of restaurants I have voluntarily returned to in less than a month.

Small, intimate place with a very interesting wine list. We so wanted to choose a non French wine because they have some adventurous choices and in the right spirit of this lovely restaurant but we reverted back after a few tastings. Little plates of crab, duck, terrine and squid, followed by sea bream expertly cooked. Shared cheese and chocolate mousse! Indulgent, fairly priced and great atmosphere. If you are in Covent Garden it is a must!

Whilst staying a couple of days in London, looked on Tripadvisor to see what was worth going to that was near our hotel.

Read the reviews for 10 cases and as it was only a couple of minutes walk away then thought we would give it a go.

What a lovely little gem. Nice selection of wine – not massive but some very good ones on there. Discussed with the lovely lady behind the bar who was most helpful and also knowledgeable. If I had one criticism then it would be that the wine list is really hard to read as it appears to be handwritten.

The place is very small and the tables with diners on are literally a step away from the bar however, this (to us) just made it feel cosier. We didn’t eat there although the compact menu looked very inviting. We sat at the bar when you can plenty of bread/olives etc. to go with your wine if you want.

It was very busy and due to the size of the place it was quite noisy however, we would much rather have that than somewhere with little or no atmosphere.

If you are looking for a cheap glass of wine somewhere then this place is not for you, if you are looking to try some nice wines that you don’t normally see then give this place a go.

We will definitely pop back in again next time we stay in London.

The wine and the food wwere outstanding!! Able to sit outside or sit in and still people watch. The wait staff were friendly and very helpful in assisting with wine selection to go with your food.
