“A real gem!”
Reviewed April 28, 2013

Fabulous food. We were in London for a 4 days and tried the breakfast which was really lovely, but a few days later whilst visiting the Tower of London we decided to pop across to the Kitchen for lunch. We tried the Beefeater Burger - it was amazing, more that we had hoped it would be. Everything was devine, particularly their 'London sauce' which I wish they would bottle as I would buy tonnes of it - just gorgeous!
As for the staff, what can you say.... Andrew you are fabulous! Just the right level of attention and hugely entertaining - well done Sir!
The Kitchen@Tower is a hidden gem, tucked away behind the ticke office to the Tower of London. People were sat on benches eating sandwiches from a well known national company just outside the Tower, if they had just taken a few more steps they too would have found this fabulous eatery.

“wonderful experience!”
Reviewed April 20, 2013

I phoned the day before to make a reservation as there were 7 of us and it was for a sUnday lunch time. I spoke to Andrew who was very helpful, as I have Coeliac disease and can only eat gluten free food which can often be difficult. He explained that there were lots of things I could have on the menu or he could modify if necessary.

We received a very friendly welcome when we arrived, even though they were very busy with a Christening party. We all had ordered something different ranging from the Sandwiches, shepherds pie, burgers and salads and all was delicious and very well presented.

Andrew and all the staff we met were great, as was the atmosphere, and we would definitely come again.

“Quality food in a nice and quirky venue.”
Reviewed April 19, 2013 via mobile

Its a small venue with not a lot of seating but this gives the resturant an endearing quality.

The food has a "home made" feel to it which is rather nice.

I have no hesitation recommending and would suggest booking in advance.

“First class breakfast!”
Reviewed April 17, 2013

Can honestly say that the breakfast at The Kitchen was the best I've eaten in a long time. It was very tasty, well presented, and very good value for money. Staff were very friendly and the service was prompt. This little gem is perfectly placed if you are visiting the Tower of London, or staying nearby. Will definitely return when next in London.

We had a fantastic breakfast with the host being an absolute hoot. He also gave us directions on how to get to Buckingham Palace.
