An amazing production contrasting the peace of pre war Devon with the horror of the war in France/Belgium. The horse 'puppets' are incredible & Very believable. I think the drabness of the set brought home the awfulness of the trenches. I found the gas attack especially poignant as my husband's grandfather died at Ypres in 1915. The cast were excellent & a special mention goes to the very goose like goose!
