Premier Inn London Stratford Hotel

Certificate of Excellence

We recently stayed for two nights on a visit to London for a concert at Wembley, and shopping trip. The Westfield Shopping centre was excellent and much easier to shop than in the centre of London, it had all the shops I love and much more. Travel to Wembley was very easy as the Jubilee line on the underground took us from the shopping centre straight to Wembley park without having to change. The Premier Inn itself was excellent, much better than I expected, lovely rooms which were immaculate. However the main reason for me reviewing this hotel was the staff, they were all polite, attentive and went out of their way to talk to us and ask if we needed anything. They are a credit to this hotel. Would definitely recommend this hotel and shopping centre to friends.

Room Tip: If you hate lifts I do, ask for a low floor, as the reception is a few floors up.

You will receive excellent customer service at this Premier. Rooms were comfortable, there was a good selection for breakfast.
Well situated for access to the trains and tube. Good shopping facilities ion the nearby Westfield Shopping Centre. A very pleasant short stay.

We were in London for a trdae show and I booked around 35 rooms through a reservation service. From the frist day we have problems with their hotel-own booking system. Each and every day we had to check out and in because of the reservation system/software they use. For around 10 rooms the resevation was wrong or not in the system or dates mixed up, although we had booking confirmations in writing! What a mess!!! The breakfast buffet was uninspired, tasteless and boring when you, as we had to, stay there for 8 nights. Therefore we did not tried the restaurant. Room price per room of GBP 120 was acceptable but for 2 additional rooms for 2 nights we had to pay GBP 800. Manager was not able to adjust that, but who else could or should when reserving 35 rooms? Rooms are acceptable. Good thing was connection to railway and many restaurants in the Westfield shopping center like Brasilian Cabana and Jamie Oliver Italian.

Room Tip: one room might be ok, but NEVER try it when you need more than one room.

I use Premier Inn alot for trips to the capital. This hotel was as good as the others i'd stayed in. Very close to the tubes & Westfield shops but more importantly for my visit, close to the Olympic Park where the Springsteen concert was being held.

When you arrive wait for the lift to take you to the arrival floor. 150+ steps isn't easy when you've been travelling!

Check in was quick and then to the lifts to take us to our room. The lifts are painfully slow. The room was clean and tidy. My only complaint was after the concert. Everyone wanted a drink in the bar and there was only 1 person serving hence a 30+ minute wait. Otherwise breakfast was great. Would stay again if I needed this location.

Stayed here following Hard Rock Calling at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. What you would expect from the Premier Inn chain - rooms were very comfortable and clean, providing everything you need for an overnight stay. The staff were friendly, BUT - the hotel was full, and therefore service at the bar following the concert was exceedingly slow (the queue reached through the bar and filled reception) as there was only ONE person working behind the bar, serving both drinks AND food - personally, I expected better! Having said that, the location was perfect for such an event, being only a few minutes walk from the Olympic Park.

Being adjacent to the westfield stratford shopping center with access to grocery stores and restaurants was awesome. The underground was a convenient walk through the mall, and the high speed javelin train was literally a stones throw from the front door of the hotel. Breakfast was convenient, and a good selection. Unlimited wifi at the mall.

Apart from its location in Westfields this Premier Inn is well located for attractions in the eastend including the Olympic Park, O2, eastend markets. Its also only 35 mins from Stansted Airport with frequent bus service from National Express and Terravision.. The hotel and staff are up the usual high standards of the Premier Inn hotel chain. The rooms and public areas are spotless and the reception staff attentive and cheerful. Breakfast is good - although some breakfast items appeared to be out of stock during our visit.
