I enjoy taking cooking classes from a variety of sources, and Leith's didn't disappoint. My niece and I took a bread-making course, and the whole day was organised beautifully, starting with breakfast on arrival.
The class was a 'hands-on' type class, and it started with a lecture by our instructor on what we were going to cover, what to expect and some history behind what we were doing. From there, every individual (not just couples or groups) got a workstation and ingredients so everyone was able to experience each item we were taught. There were plenty of support people around to help and advise throughout the day, and the course ended with a beautifully prepared and presented lunch, including wine.
This is truly a professionally run outfit, and I wouldn't hesitate in attenting another class, or indeed recommending this. You could easily go as a 'single' and fit right in as everyone works individually.
