Food not bad although there were quite a few problems while we were there, wrong meals and general mix ups. Nice pub, reasonable prices for the location and very busy. Evening meals a little better then day time we found.

Wetherspoons / Liberty Bounds is a great place to stop in the middle of a sight seeing day (by Tower of London). We had a simple lunch of paninis, mozzarella/pesto/tomato as well as one with ham. Very packed due to all the visitors and business lunches, but fast service, great draft beer selections, and a variety of food is offered on the menu. Lots of great, large windows to look out over the streets and city. The pub itself is beautiful -- lots of nice heavy wood throughout, little nooks and crannies to sit in upstairs.

Had breakfast one day and afternoon snack next as staying nearby and found little to complain about in both visits. Did very much what says on Wetherspoons tin and supplied decent, reasonably priced food and drink in handy location.

Egg Royale and a very nice extra-hot latte, all for £6. Never happened in London!
Coffee is usually £3 at least... eggs £8, you do the maths!

I was quite surprised by the quality too, very good breakfast!
i wouldn't have picked this place for brunch but glad my friend insisted.

Only "problem": get there early over weekends, it gets very busy!

Location is amazing too, by the market.
