I was in this place for a breakfast, and it was good. I ordered a english breakfast with tea. Also good value for the money.

“Oh dear!”
Reviewed November 22, 2013

We checked into our hotel and as we were peckish thought we'd eat around the corner as there appeared to be quite a few cafés and restaurants. We both ordered a BLT, a fresh lemonade and a cappuccino. When the BLT's arrived they were in a very hard baguette with a salad garnish. The baguette was so hard that it cut the inside of my mouth and the salad garnish tasted of fish! The bacon was very chewy and fatty too.

We sat near the kitchen and were shocked when the staff opened the kitchen shutters to see everything was wooden with lots of crockery piled high. The wooden racks looked like they'd seen better days and are definitely a health and safety issue.

The only positive I have is the lemonade was lovely. Freshly made. Costing £3.50 for an average sized glass I expected it to be nice!

Will not be returning

“A perfect stop-off between the Tube and our Hotel”
Reviewed November 16, 2013

We were in London to visit the O2 arena for the tennis and had booked a hotel in Kensington. We came ouf the stifling hot Tube station and remembered this place across the road from last year. The weather was dry and mild so we sat outside on the terrace. We ordered tea with lemon and each of us asked for a stack of pancakes with maple syrup. Delicious! The waiting staff were efficient and happy in their job and we really enjoyed the atmosphere. A place to return to.

“Worse than microwaved frozen food”
Reviewed October 12, 2013

We should have used TripAdvisor or some other app to find a good restaurant in the area. We chose this because it was a convenient location and looked decent from the sidewalk.

We had a pizza, cheeseburger, and chicken nuggets and they were all terrible! The pizza tasted exactly like lower quality frozen pizza. The cheeseburger was most certainly a frozen patty that had a freezer burned taste to it. The chicken nuggets were mushy to the point of almost making us gag with disgusting flavor too. The french fries that came with the nuggets weren't even very good - I don't know how you can really mess up fries.

They have a display case with some really delicious looking desserts, but after our dinner experience we passed on that.
